As a Fairmont advocate prior to my stay, I can say I'm an advocate no more.
I went in the suite and the first impression was good. It was very spacious, and other than the very old-school, pixelated TVs they had in the suite, everything was good (A TV update is needed though).
My issues had to do with the service from many of the staffs. There was the instance where I couldn't find the room information (ie. in room dining menu, etc), and when I called for the information, the housekeeping came trying to argue that the information was indeed there. I did try searching, maybe I just couldn't find it, it was late at night and I didn't need anyone arguing about a QR code.
But my greatest trigger was when we were just done swimming, and I genuinely had the hotels' best interest as I wrapped myself in towel to avoid water dripping as I go to my room. I was met halfway by a staff member who arrogantly said(without any greeting) quote translated "the towels can only stay here, you cannot bring it to the room", and when we were about to leave the towels, he walked away while muttering (quote translated) with a very condescending tone "i told you so already". I honestly haven't met the person before, and he said that. Regardless, it was such a disappointing experience.
Had one of the worst sleep in a hotel. I was in the 19th floor but I can here cars passing like they were right outside my room. It was that loud and my whole family couldn't get a good night rest.
