This stay exceeded our expectations. From the moment we were greeted upon check-in, to the warm farewell we received on our way out the door, no detail was missed. The open-air bath in our room with views of Mount Fuji was a spectacular amenity that we took advantage of as much as possible. The staff were so warm and friendly, the breakfast and dinner were delicious. They also went out of their way to accommodate our infant child as much as possible, that really helped to make our stay even more relaxing. We highly recommend this ryokan for anyone looking to have a truly unforgettable stay near mt Fuji.

This was the best resort stay I have ever had! The staff went over and beyond what was expected. The view was spectacular! The food was including the room dinner and breakfast were amazing. The amenities were equally as amazing, so many different things to do that we actually didn’t have enough time to do them all unfortunately. I would love to return at some point.

Everything is excellent, top notch. The staff English is not good but they try everything to help. They were nice and very helpful. We left an expensive Jewelry in our room and we realized that when we came back home at USA, we contacted the Hotel, they immediately replied and tried every effort to send it to us. Now we have it. Thanks. We will come back the area and will stay here again next time.

10/10 views of Mt. Fuji and incredible hospitality. While it’s not located near much, there’s plenty to do on the property with multiple onsens and private baths, a beautiful garden, a nightly drum show, and several restaurants. They also offer a private shuttle from nearby train stations like Mishima. It’s a paid service, but highly recommended for a smooth and easy arrival. At times, it felt like an all inclusive resort thanks to the way the stay is set up, with in room dining, unlimited drinks, snack rooms, and a full lineup of amenities.

Staffs are very attentive since the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is an attraction. We stayed for 2 nights but it feels like there are still a lot to explore in the hotel. Will definitely come back!

Although I enjoy the authenticness of the th staff and facility, my biggest gripe while I was there was the very few staff members speaking English. Everyone was extremely pleasant but because of the language barrier I had to go to several different ppl to get an answer and even then I would get different assistance -- or no assistance. For example, I wanted a massage but was never able to book. Probably better to have done it online Facility is amazing. Some confusing time and access ports (bars, lounges, public bath, soaks( Imagine being on a cruise ship but on ground? There are a ton of mid afternoon- evening activities. Local food. Not your typical Japanese food that you may be used to which I thought was amazing. But I can imagine if being a bit challenging for some travelers.

We LOVED our experience here. We booked the ryokan experience which includes dinner and private onsen in our room. We had booked a western room with comfy western beds. The dinner was fabulous but it wasn’t clear that it’s served in your room. We would have preferred either a group setting or a more traditional table setting (the western room has a table and chairs). The in-room onsen was a real treat, but the property’s onsen was also impressive. We didbthe larger one at night, and then the rooftop one alternates between males and females so we did it in the morning. There is a drum show at night in the lobby which was fun. Also the souvenir shop was stocked well. We had a great time!
