"The hotel and its staff are wonderful! We were walking distance from the two main shopping malls. The area around the hotel is definitely third world, overly populated and lots of vendors, but everyone is super nice!! We felt safe walking to and from the malls and you just have to be aware of your surroundings or you could get run over by a moped or car. The food in the hotel was delicious! "
"The roof in the bathroom was dripping water from the room above mine. They would not move me to another room. The staff did not help with the luggage. The bathroom walls were dirty and yellow. bed and pillows were confortable"
"Everything perfect. 10 out of 10!
Very friendly service. Very clean rooms and common areas. Can’t tell you a better place to be for exploring Jakarta!"
"Our stay at Artotel Thamrin Jakarta was excellent. The hotel was very neat and clean, and the staff were polite and kind. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. We also tried dinner, and it was equally very good. Overall, a wonderful experience."
"Many things that was neglected which made my stay uncomfortable.
1. Mouldy toilet walls
2. Dirty toilet bowls
3. Broken tissue box
4. Dirty mini fridge that froze anything placed inside
5. I called to ask for extra pillows and told I couldn't have any.
6. Ask for extra towel to swim with and I had to pay $4sgd for a poor quality towel with a stain and literally falling apart.
I suggest put lesser people in the breakfast area and more people in the cleaning area. Too many staff doing nothing...

"the staff is amazing. Always super helpful. I arrived at the hotel at 10pm and feeling hungry. Reception staff Jeffery advised me on where I can get food and then later surprised me with traditional food even though kitchen was closed. Breakfast is free but not very nice, gym is small."
