“It's exactly what you expect and a good price for the area. Room stay nice and cold with the air conditioner. The balcony on the Upper Floor was really nice to have. Not much to it very simplistic and the front desk staff was great”

“A wonderful stay from start to finish! We were so well looked after by Richard the owner. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and generous of his time spent with guests. The breakfast cooked from scratch each day by Logan was absolutely wonderful. We have never experienced service and hospitality like it! The location of the hotel is just perfect for visiting both the historic district and the seawall area. And to top it all off, Richard himself drove us to the port to join our cruise ship at the……

“For the price, I was expecting much more. The room and bathroom were very small. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable though. Even though it says the rooms are soundproof, you can still easily hear people outside the door. The Resort is beautiful to hold events like weddings, bridal shower, etc. But to stay there for any other reason; I personally don’t feel it’s worth the high price they are charging. We paid $600 for one night in their basic room. Valet is $40 The pool area……

“Our room was clean and beautifully decorated, and organized. The host and inn keeper were super friendly, they made delicious breakfast. The pool came in clutch, it was clean and heated. Some tiny downsides, the free bottle of wine was not provided to us. We wished they have many tables because we had breakfast with other guests in the same table, not bad but it was somewhat awkward. Overall a good experience.”

“Our stay at this historical home was wonderful. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. Many extras, including an outside shower and hot tub....a great bonus! The owner is very accommodating and communication is A++. Looking forward to a longer stay next time!”

“perfect location walking distance to carnival cruise ship. walk across the parking lot to Katie's sea food, then 2 blocks from the Strand. 100% will book this place again when going to Galveston. downfall was lower than normal breakfast, but still worth it for the location. ”
