It’s a two minute walk to West River Provisions, a family-owned country store stocked with groceries and gourmet items, plus beer and deli fare. Just a couple minutes further down the road is River & Rye, a restaurant and bar with an emphasis on local ingredients and community in a welcoming setting.
The home itself is incredibly comfortable. There is a flat private parking area, and when you enter through the back of the house, there’s a spacious mudroom with hooks and cubbies galore - a place for everyone’s things!
The first floor of the house has: - an updated and stocked kitchen, everything you need - a dining room with a large table that seats ten, plus another smaller table in the kitchen area - a cozy living room with a TV, fireplace, piano and games and half bathroom off of it - a large den with a Queen sleeper sectional and full bathroom directly off of it
Upstairs to the second floor you will find four large bedrooms! All have Queen beds that are very comfortable. There are four full bathrooms on this level (each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom). There is a crib in one of the bedrooms. A different bedroom has a trundle bed.

Winter: - Ski or Snowboard at Stratton, Bromley, Magic Mountain & Mt. Snow. These four extraordinary resorts are close by! And offer many other activities as well, like the tube park or ice skating. - Snowshoe or sled in Jamaica State Park. - Enjoy Vermont's natural beauty and mountain views.
Spring/Summer: - Swim and kayak in the West River. - Jamaica State Park is a stunning and abundant nature area. Activities includes camping, swimming, boating, river fishing, hiking, picnicking, mountain biking, and wildlife watching. - Visit Pikes Falls, Emerald Lake, Hamilton Falls, Lowell Lake, or many other local beautiful Vermont places. - Enjoy activities at the ski resorts such as scenic lift rides, golf, concerts, mountain biking, etc.
Fall: - Foliage Hotspot - Stunning autumn colors right from the yard - Leaf-peeping & scenic drives - Hiking. The Stratton Mountain Fire Tower is a great hike to take. It sits atop the highest peak in southern Vermont and offers some exquisite fall views. - Cider Mills, pumpkin patches and apple picking - Local harvest festivals, and cider donuts - Visit Manchester - which is extra magical in the fall. Manchester is home to some nice outlet shops, charming independent shops, historic streets, wonderful restaurants, and lots of things to do outdoors to enjoy fall foliage.
