“Stayed here 2 years ago, & property is in need of some corrective maintenance such as peeling finish on lower part of some doors. It's not major, but detracts from an otherwise excellent facility. It is the ONLY hotel in Valley City that we will patronize.”

“Nice clean room, bathroom was nice with walk-in shower. One thing to note, we booked a king with sofa. The description did not say that the sofa pulled out, it said 3 person max in the room. We were a little worried about this as we have 2 boys, but when we got there we found it did pull out so was perfect for us. Description needs to be updated though. The boys loved the water slides and are already asking to go back! ”

“Arrived late at night, beyond tired, and our room was 90°. Literally. No other rooms were available and no discount was offered. Got up this morning and there was no shower curtain. Not worth the money. At all. ”

“The front desk clerk was amazing. He was tending to all the guests. The property and rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The hair dryer didn't work in our room and the tub was patchy but clean. I think the housekeeping could be a bit better but still a great place to stay. The front desk clerks would make it all worth it. He needs a bonus or raise! Awesome worker! ”

“This place was gross. Filthy, dirty, rude guy at the front desk. Noisy at night, and wouldnt let me park my car with trailer in the lot due to having a uhaul rentql company in the same building.”

“Entire property was filthy! Bed sheets were torn, pillows very old and hard. Loby was locked during allowing no entry during breakfast time. ”

“A beautiful mix of historic museum, craft and style. Everything was spotless and easy to access. Perfect communication with our host. We were just passing through the area, but it was absolutely worth the 17 mile trip off the interstate. ”
