Perfect Family Getaway in a Prime Location!

Fantastic stay, especially for families! This property was perfect for our trip, with a park just across the road, the beach only a 10 minute walk away, and Jan Juc shops just a quick two minute drive. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only minor suggestion would be updating the showerhead, but that’s a very small detail in an otherwise excellent experience. Highly recommend!"

Jan Juc Stay

We rented out the place as it was very close to the RACV Resort at Torquay, where I was to be the Celebrant at an old work Colleagues wedding on the Saturday afternoon/ evening. The Main negative to the property is that it only has 1 toilet, and it is situated in the same room as the bathroom.

Good location, nice looking townhouse though could have been better

We love how convenient the location is. The townhouse looks modern and is of a good size for a small group and family. We would have loved our stay more if there was more supply in the kitchen, some essentials such as cooking oil, pepper (the provided salt expired) were not provided. There was not proper bedside table and bedside lambs in the second bedroom. The mattress was not as firm as one in other vacation houses we have been. Cooking utensils are not of great quality. We suggest to replace the frying pan as non stick layer shows visible marks of wear-and-tear.

A welcome home.

Couch broken with broken leg, power fuse kept tripping out the light circuit if kettle was on. We turned this off and it continued to happen. We fixed it so just letting you know. no soap holder in shower was a bit annoying, we couldn’t find remote control for second air con so had to move upstairs and downstairs. These are small things which didn’t detract from our stay just letting you know.

A great spot for a family get away

We stayed in the rear unit of the property. The book in and check in process was excellent. Noela's communication was perfect! We stayed with our three children; our teenager slept on the fold out sofa which she said was comfortable. The beds have plush mattresses and are very very soft. If you need a firm bed I wouldn't recommend. The unit had everything we needed for our stay except a clothes line. There is no where to hang wet beach swimmers, towels and washed clothes (there is a small drying rack at the unit but it doesn't cut the mustard for a family). There are no hooks on the back of bedroom doors and the bathroom has a very small towel rail. It was very hard to get bath towels dry let alone beach gear. We used the balcony railing in an attempt to dry items. The unit is in a great spot within a 5 minute walk to Jan Juc beach. Having access to a garage is great however we couldn't park in it as we had a pod on the top of our car and didn't fit due to height. All in all a fabulous place to stay if you don't mind having no where to hang your towels or wet gear! We would stay again!

Perfect location & property

We had a beautiful stay in the property, it was exactly like it was advertised and was extremely clean and tidy. Communication was flawless with the property owner and all instructions for check in etc made the process so much simpler. The property was just a short stroll from the beach which made it the perfect location. Access to washing machine also made things easier for a family of 6. Will definitely be back to stay again! Thank you for a lovely stay 👌🏼

Great property but read the inclusions carefully

Lovely owner. Great to communicate with. The property is really clean and bigger than you expect. Some strange exclusions though - no BBQ (it didn't occur to us to look for this in the inclusions - no BBQ in a holiday house!), no outdoor furniture (other than a tiny table for 2), no corkscrew, no bread knife, no outside line for hanging up wetsuits and towels, only one tiny towel rail in the bathroom so you have hang towels all over the house so they dry. The TV is really old so make sure you bring a HDMI to connect to your computer for any streaming. There's a DVD player! We recommend bringing your own pillows but the linen is provided which is great. The couch collapsed but the owner responded quickly and kindly. A really clean but basic house to lay your head and use as base for your holiday. We would definitely stay again if a BBQ and outdoor furniture was included.

Great size and location

Really great location, right near Torquay and the beach. The living space was very spacious, and overall a good set up. I liked having the balconies for each room also. Noela was especially fantastic with communication. Thanks for our stay!

Stay in Jan Juc

The property is in a great location. There needs abit of maintenance in regards to doors and windows. The house could have been cleaner, and disapointed there was no tea/coffee facilities at all, and shops not that close. A few personal touches is always a warm welcome

Great modern townhouse in great location

Our family of five stayed for 14 nights and had a great time. The townhouse (one of three in the block) is modern, light and spacious. Small garden in the rear townhouse, however right opposite a lovely park with playground, bbq and lots of space for running and cricket. 5 min walk to Jan Jac beach and walking trail, 10-15 min walk to Jan Juc shops. Bathroom gets a little steamy without a proper fan or window, but otherwise highly recommend.
