“To say the Pole House is iconic is obvious. We kept pinching ourselves that we were actually it’s guests. Every time we walked across the bridge felt like we were stepping into a very privileged space. For lovers of seascapes gazing out its windows is unparalleled. “Due to full occupancy in Torquay, we finally reserved 2 rooms at 13th Beach Golf Lodge for 1 night. All facilities in the lodge were new & the environment provided us a leisure moment.
Breakfast with tea or black coffee was included but simple. It would be much better if Latte or Flat White could be included as they are not costy items. Food quality was fluctuated. My toast was over-baked. Restaurant staff was limited indeed so patient was required. ”

“Great spot on the Great Ocean Road, would stay there again without hesitation. We were offered early check in (but weren’t in town to take advantage), staff were lovely and friendly, park has great facilities (laundry, pool, all kinds of kids activities), cabin has all we needed and is a good layout, plus Aireys Inlet is a lovely spot. ”

“Lovely spot to stay along the great ocean road, nearby the beach and plenty of places to eat. The view and the bathtub made it for me as well as all the lovely touches from the hosts, I did not realise breakfast was included and felt this was great value. There was also complimentary marshmallows and chocolate to go with the tea and coffee and soft bathrobes which made the stay feel very relaxing and luxurious. Thanks David and Anne, I would happily stay again. ”

"The room type provided was completely different from what was booked, very old and dirty. The carpet was extremely dirty, the water flow in the bathroom was very small, and the electronic lock couldn't be locked at first. It took a long time to figure out that it required a lot of force to close it. I asked the platform to communicate with the hotel about the room's problem and was hung up on several times. They only said that it was full and couldn't handle it, so why should I book it? Terrible attitude and very, very poor housing experience"
