「Upon arrival, we were informed that our reservation was not recorded on their system despite presenting physical evidence. I was in state of Ihram and remained composed to proceed with our Umrah. Upon arrival approximately four hours later, no confirmation of our reservation was received. We contacted Expedia who subsequently sent an email to the manager. We finally arrived at our room around 5:30 pm. Awful experience which ruined it for entire stay at the hotel. Will never be staying here...

「Hands down an amazing experience. I hada small issue over breakfast, but staff were quickly to resolve and you were able to enjoy the hotel services and have an amazing stay. great location away from clock tower, easy to walk to Al Haram and back and not having to push through huge numbers of people. exceptional staff」

「Great location modern hotel. Reception could be better manned waited longer than accepted to check in and out during Ramadan not all counters manned. Room clean with good view of Makkah housekeeping also good. Overall very good stay good amenities 」

「The hotel is very conveniently located to access the haram, just have to cross the road. I was very impressed from check in to check out, all the staff are very helpful and friendly throughout. The lifts at this hotel are absolutely awesome, never a long wait for a lift at any time. The view from our room out to the haram from the 8th floor was great. Rooms aren’t big but well equipped and fairly modern, showers are great. Highly recommend this hotel.」

「I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Diar Al Khalidiya, especially during Ramadan. From the first day, the WiFi in my room did not work. I reported this 6–7 times, but nothing was done. I was forced to sit in reception for hours just to access the internet, along with other guests facing the same issue. This caused major stress and lack of sleep. The situation became much worse when my Qatar Airways flight was cancelled due to the Middle East conflict. I urgently needed WiFi to contact...

「Pros: Hotel is spacious, the furniture in good condition, the carpet inside the room is clean. Cons: -The restaurant is below average I tried Iftar and decide not to try Sohor. Do not recommend dinning at the hotel at all even if it’s free. -Not easy to walk to holy mosque you have to take the golf car usually the waiting is 2-5 min and it takes 1-2 min to arrive then you walk down to the mosque. 」

「Hotel are literally two miles away feom Haram. If you think about walking, think about walking uphill throughout two miles uphill. Taxies are robbers, charge you unreasonable price For each trip and not available often. Reception staaf are very non cooperative. 」

「Yes, staff support was lacking. Pictures didn’t fit with real situation. It was a scam and we were very disappointed. I don’t recommend it for anyone. 」
