「Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans le gîte de Anne et Jean-Louis. Nous étions plusieurs couples d'amis avec des enfants en bas âge.La maison est jolie, confortable et très propre. Il y a de la place dans les espaces communs du rez-de-chaussée qui sont restés frais malgré la chaleur.La cuisine est bien équipée, et il y a assez de vaisselle et de places assises pour les grandes tablées, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. 「We actually stayed for 6 weeks whilst waiting for our house purchase to complete. In that time we were visited by friends and family. Shabby Chic Paradise is in a great location, peaceful and private yet only 10 minutes drive to Saintes centre. Lots of space for groups and their pets and children. The house is well appointed, unique in character and very comfortable. We had a very happy six weeks and were sad to leave. Michael is an excellent host.」

「The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. 」
