Perfect Place

A beautiful mountain home in a gorgeous place. Rented it for a golf trip, turned out to be a great choice, 5 minutes to the course and courts (tennis & pickleball). Walked to the clubhouse for a lovely dinner. Making plans to head back soon.

Gorgeous, coHome and Area!

It’s living in the treetops! Lots of inside and deck/porch space to enjoy in small groups (or alone for quiet time) and the whole family together indoors and out. We cooked a lot of meals; kitchen was well appointed, and we loved having a table large enough for all 9 of us to eat together! Everyone in Big Canoe and with Vacasa was very friendly and helpful. Kids and adults of all ages enjoyed the pools and the lakes and the rock slide.

Gorgeous home. Spotless. Easy check-in. But, when advertising 2 fireplaces, the assumption is that they both work. The issue was ultimately resolved the next day but it took a few phone calls.

Bad weather, great property and location

Our stay coincided with Hurricane Helene, so we didn't get to enjoy everything Big Canoe has to offer. The house was great, and we will definitely be back for a future trip. The only recommendation I have would be to tell guests clearly what they're supposed to do with full trash bags. We had to figure that out on our own by talking to the security guards at the Big Canoe entrance gate.

The name says it all!

This home is truly a place of beauty and serenity. It is large and spacious, while still being quiet and secluded. Each bed/bath is beautiful and well equipped. The common spaces upstairs and downstairs, as well as large patios in each are ideal for gathering. The fireplace/screened is porch off the master is my favorite! This home is close to all the amenities at Big Canoe; clubhouse, walking trails, lake, swimming pool, and hiking. It is the perfect place for a large family gathering, while the spacious master on the main also makes it great for a weekend getaway for 2. Beautifully decorated with all you need for a perfect getaway.

Christmas at Choctaw Village Big Canoe

We came to your property as we have spent many a Christmas holiday in Big Canoe. We have grown children flying the coup this year and this was such a meaningful family moment time spent in your home. We laughed, made memories and treasures the time in your lovely home.The responses were immediate and very accommodating and helpful. The property was spectacular and homey- much larger than the pictures led you to believe. Adorable neighborhood and we enjoyed the trails that were right in the village.Thank you for allowing us to stay - we will be back!Blessings always-Rae Gartino

Lovely home away from home

The check in process was a breeze and the home was spectacular. Everything was very clean and nicely appointed. Communication from the rental agency was thorough and prompt when we had an issue with the satellite service for the television. This was one of the best house rental experiences we’ve had. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We look forward to visiting again.
