Renovated lake house on Lewis Smith Lake located right off the main lake with big water views from the living room and both decks. Comes fully equipped with hot tub (w/ outdoor smart tv), fire pit, 2 kayaks, 2 story dock, double beverage fridge and bar, 3 bedrooms/2 koi bathrooms, great fishing from the dock, and ready to sleep 10 guests!

Lake, Lake and More Lake!

Beautiful views and lots of outdoor space. Good for people that want to be active (fishing, kayaking) and those that want to relax (elderly parents enjoyed being able to sit on the deck and enjoy the outside as well). Great place!

Pretty sunset view from porch!

The homeowners have done a nice job updating this charming little lake house. We had everything we needed and the view from the upper porch was so pretty, especially at sunset. The property was clean, easy to find and had paved roads straight to the property. We never had issues with Wi-Fi and were able to watch our favorite Netflix show cozied up on the comfy sectional. My only suggestion would be to invest in soft foam or down mattress toppers, the beds were VERY firm. Otherwise, the house is a lovely little getaway spot for a weekend!

Beautiful lake front property with lots of activities and fun for family!

We will absolutely be staying again. Pictures don't do the property justice The view is stunning! There is more than enough to do. The property is clean and updated. The hot tub was a hit, even on the hot summer days, the cool breeze at night makes it nice. And it's not gross like most hot tubs at rental properties. We had so much fun, I highly recommend!

Smith Lake Getaway

Our long weekend on Smith Lake was wonderful. The house was as pictured, had a great view of the lake, kayaks and a nice boat house. We brought our own boat and tie off at the pier. The boat ramp is only a few minutes away. We skied almost every morning and afternoon and found the cliffs to jump. We also went northwest about 45 minutes to several beautiful hiking trails. We brought in all our food where we did not have to run back into town. Overall a great experience.

Awesome property

We rented this property as a halfway point for my in laws and us to have a quick getaway. The property was very clean and inviting. We had 10 people staying and did not feel cramped in any way. Jacob was extremely responsive any time I had questions & were more than accommodating!

Perfect family getaway!

Our family of 6 had plenty of room in this newly renovated home! The property was in a quiet cove with easy access to the water. Loved all the extra amenities that were in the home for our family to use. House was clean and very cozy! We will defiantly use this property again!

Great Lake house

This property is perfect especially if you have various ages of kids. There are plenty of beds for everyone, TVs in every room and by the hot tub, and lots of room to spread out. The hot tub was very clean and nice (I’ve rented places before where the hot tub was gross so I specifically note this…) The property owner is very responsive to any and all questions. Was a seamless experience. Will definitely stay again.

The cottage was just as the pictures showed and more. The host was helpful and had thought of MANY details that made our family vacation feel like home - from kayaks, hammocks, life jackets, games, and beach towels to popcorn, s’mores, and extra toiletries. The house has a beautiful view of the lake and oversight of the swimming area which was a peaceful cove the kids swam in for hours. We hope to make this a returning place to visit.

Prefect and more!!!

This property is AMAZING! Very clean and the lay-out of the whole house was prefect! Plenty of room, fully equipped, and peaceful. Everything was just as we saw it on the website and MORE! One of the best rental properties I have ever stayed in. Already planning our second trip back. Any questions I had, Jacob responded immediately. Highly recommend! This will be our forever, to go to rental on the Lake!! You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable

This home was a wonderful place to relax with the family. The owners really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They left us candy and popcorn for a movie night, smores ingredients for a campfire night, and even a bag of coffee for the mornings. Check in was easy and there wasn't a huge list of chores at check out. We really enjoyed our stay at the Not Your Grandmother's Lake House.

Simply Amazing!

This lake house has it ALL! Jacob was super responsive and kind of enough to answer all my many questions. We were provided with plenty of provisions like towels and kitchen essentials to make our stay comfortable. They even gave us welcome drinks, snacks and s’mores! Talk about going above and beyond for your guests! The beds were comfortable and the lake views were great. The kayaks they provided were a ton of fun and their dock offers an upstairs deck with a place to jump off that we really enjoyed. It is just a short drive from grocery stores and Walmart which made restocking the kitchen convenient. Their grill, kitchen and all appliances worked fabulously. Perfect for a weekend getaway with a small group of friends or family. Book it now before someone else does!
