Good potential, but needs things fixed, maintenance.

The property is very pretty and is very well equipped, great pool and social areas, good kitchen and there are many activities for kids and adults, basketball, great bar, bbq, ping pong, full gym, etc etc, very well sorted house. However, the main problem with the property is maintenance, broken items and "technology". The contact with the owner was good though VRBO, locally I dealt with the Manager and the Pool Cleaner, both of whom were very nice. When we arrived the Property Manager informed us the Guest Master Bedroom upstairs had a broken bathroom and it was locked and out of order, hence, guests had to be placed in a basement bedroom, that was severely dissapointing. From then on we had a few additional major issues, the main one being that for whatever reason, and without notice, the water heater in the house only worked for a couple of hours early in the morning and a couple of hours in the early afternoon, so 2 days of cold showers followed, a technician came a couple of times to "fix" the issue, which was resolved with assitance from a guest, ridiculous, any and all properties should have hot water at all times, specially in the luxury segment. This was a big issue, specially having small children/toddler in the group. Additionally several window "shades" were stuck in the closed position, including in both master bedrooms and lower Guest Rooms, so half the view was blocked in all rooms. The other major issue was the Jacuzzi, because it was out of order, we had a few cold days with bad weather but the Jacuzzi couldn't be used as it was broken, useless. In conclusion, very nice and well equipped property with neat gadgets very cool activities and a great pool, but severe lack of maintenance (there are other issues not disclosed here) and ridiculous hot water supply issue DO NOT make it worth the price of admission.
