「Jayne was great! Location was perfect. Home was very appropriately decorated with historical aspects kept in tact but updated for the modern guest. I was traveling with my 84-year-old Mom, so steps to enter were a bit tricky as were doorway transitions and small bathroom. But we mapped out in daylight so she could be extra cautious at night. Great say overall!」

「Lovely historic home right on N. Main Street. Very little traffic and convenient to the ferry. We loved the decor. Nice shops close by and not far from the oldest homes. Check in and was so easy. Unusual heat wave, but the air conditioning was super. We would stay again.」

「We had a great time at the cottage. Some suggestions are a little」

「We enjoyed our stay here in this cute home. It is an older home so it’s not perfect but worked for our family. This is not rented by an individual. It’s rented by a company and communication is difficult. The smoke detectors kept going off and we had to call 911. There was no fire but the company was slow to respond and wouldn’t send anyone out until the night after we checked out. We had a 2 year old with us who was terrified and we couldn’t sleep because of worrying it would go off. It did...

「We love the house and the amount of sleeping arrangements. The coffee maker broke and she told me that if I can get a new one she will pay me back and all I had to do was leave the receipt on top of the refrigerator. Everything worked out great. She was very responsive when we had questions. We will definitely try to rent again next year.」

「Everything was great with the stay! The hot tub was the highlight and I loved that ther was a essential oil diffuser. We had a hiccup wit getting the code upon arriving, but The communication was great. Me and my Husband will definitely be back.」

「Even during tornado sirens and sheltering, Benka and Kieth were phenomenal hosts. I read The Snows of Mount Kilimanjaro and perused an excellent collection of other books available in the cottage. The hot tub was top tier but you just can’t beat the furry company. My goodness those dogs were friendly and soft and just a treat to be around. It was everything I could hope for in a romantic weekend getaway. can’t wait to read the Flying Spaghetti Monster!」

「Cute property and very nice host! It was great to bring our pets along and the fenced in yard was perfect for them to run around safely.」

「Comfortable beds, nice TV’s, plush towels and hot water in the shower are highlights…」

「House was clean and the location was within walking distance to most town attractions. It was quite even though it was located downtown 」

「It is an attractive property, but had some shortages. I am particular and have used many rentals. These are the things that I would have wanted, compared to others, and may sound as if I am too particular. I acknowledge that. "As I recall," the listing indicated there was a carport with parking in the rear. We arrived after dark, and since there was no lighting in the alley, could not find a carport (doesn't exist), and could not get the gate to open. Fortunately, there was parking...

「Great stay nice supply of cooking stuff.」

「We enjoyed our stay here. It is very secluded but also very convenient to the Farmington/Park Hills area. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need and it was very nicely furnished.」

「Super cozy and peaceful 」

「We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely adorable, clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect—super convenient to everything in Waterloo while still being in a quiet area. The host was fantastic to work with, providing great communication before and during our stay. They thought of all the little details, and the home was well-stocked and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Five...

「Great place if you are visiting for shows at Purina. Super location, nice house and great yard!」

「Clean space with so much character!」

「Excellent property with comfortable furniture, premium linens and fluffy towels. There were fresh flowers everywhere and fresh sage and bath salts in the bathrooms. The house was fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, coffee, etc. The backyard was ideal for relaxing or entertaining. We were extremely comfortable and very happy with our stay. This host is truly amazing and we highly recommend this property.」
