「This is a small cabin, primarily intended for hikers in the area. As such, it cannot be judged by the usual criteria. It's set in a meadow full of wildflowers and birds. There is only 1 other cabin in sight. It's small. It's primitive. It's lovely. If you want amenities such as running water and heat or AC, It's maybe not for you. If you want to be close to nature, if you want peace and quiet, TAKE IT! You won't be sorry! 」

Even though a bit north of Stowe, great restaurants and drinking places close by. Cabin was plenty big for 4 adults and two small dogs. Mountains were beautiful and such a deep green color! We did have a big adult bear greet us as we unpacked our car. Nearby homeowners have seen him many times before and made us feel safe, but did double checked the area when we went...

「It was quiet and clean. Yes you could hear footsteps during the day but it's a basement apartment. It was always quiet at night. I only wish the apartment had AC.」

We were grateful that the AC was on when we got there, because the first day was very hot and humid.
