NEON FISH — A PRIVATE SONOMA COAST ESCAPE

Perched on its own sandy bluff above the Pacific in Timber Cove, Neon Fish is a private contemporary two-bedroom retreat with extraordinary ocean views from every room.

Watch whales, seals and seabirds from the house. Wake to the sound of the Pacific, spend the afternoon exploring the Sonoma Coast, then come home for sunset, a fire and a soak overlooking the ocean. The constantly changing sea, sky and light are part of what makes staying here so memorable. (binoculars are provided.)

Neon Fish is particularly wonderful for couples celebrating a special occasion, two couples traveling together, or anyone looking for a quiet coastal escape where you can genuinely slow down and reconnect.

THE HOUSE:
The upper level is bright and open, with expansive ocean views and an easy flow between the kitchen, dining and living areas. It’s designed for spending time together—cooking dinner, opening a bottle of wine, listening to music, reading by the fire or simply watching the weather move across the Pacific.

Two fireplaces upstairs make the house especially inviting in cooler weather: a wood-burning fireplace in the living room and an easy-to-use gas fireplace in the kitchen and dining area.

The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to prepare a proper meal, including a generous selection of spices, oils and condiments. An outdoor grill is conveniently located nearby.

Open the doors to the Juliette balcony and let the ocean air move through the house. On sunny days, the private courtyard is a sheltered place to relax; in the evening, gather around the outdoor fire pit and watch the stars.

TWO PRIVATE BEDROOM SUITES
Downstairs are two equally inviting bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, one has it's own gas fireplace and ocean front spa. Each has a dramatic floor-to-ceiling ocean views.
The bedrooms are thoughtfully separated by the spiral staircase, giving two couples a welcome degree of privacy while still sharing the house together.

THE SPA ROOM
One of the most memorable spaces at Neon Fish is the private spa/sun room. A large soaking spa is heated at approximately 103°F with continuously refreshed fresh water and no added chemicals. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open completely toward the ocean, creating an extraordinary indoor-outdoor experience. Beside the spa is a rain shower, while a skylight overhead brings in the changing daylight. At night, a moonlight over the spa completes the experience. Morning waves, an afternoon storm or a clear night beneath the stars—this is a place you’ll want to return to more than once during your stay.

WHEN EVENING ARRIVES
Neon Fish takes on another personality after sunset.
As the Pacific disappears into the horizon, the vintage neon artwork casts a warm pink glow across the living room. Light a fire, put on some music, pour a glass of wine and settle in.
It is one of those houses where staying home for the evening can be every bit as enjoyable as going out.

EXPLORE THE SONOMA COAST
Just minutes from Neon Fish is Stillwater Cove Regional Park and Beach. Across the road you’ll find a beautiful forest trail winding through redwoods and ferns alongside a creek.
The surrounding Sonoma Coast offers beaches, coastal trails, dramatic overlooks, small towns and some wonderful places to eat and explore—but you may find that one of the best parts of the trip is simply coming back to Neon Fish.
