"If you go to Plitvice Lakes National Park, I recommend this place strongly!!!! (The Rustic Lodge Plitvice is very close to the park entrance #2.) Let me explain why my wife and I LOVED this place. This is a family business. I believe the parents cook and the children help run the place. They were very friendly, patient, courteous, and helpful. (We did not go there by car. They kindly gave us a ride to the Park entrance.) The decoration of the lodge is just beautiful - a lot of wooden work. The restaurant was excellent. My wife ordered a full-course menu with a trout, and I ordered one with traditional cuisine - sausage. The breakfast buffet was also great!!! If you think my review is unrealistically high, try the place yourself. You will understand what I am saying here. Thank you, the Rustic Lodge family. You definitely made a wonderful first impression of Croatia!!!"

"This is great place to stay for visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park. The room was large and felt very clean. The shower was all glass with sliding doors, tucked into a corner to save space. Nice towels. Breakfast was hearty and good. A good visit."

"Breakfast was okay. Lots of options. Parking was good and close to the national park. Upon check in the lady working was not very pleasant and seemed like we were making her job hard when he asked questions. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasnt open even though advertised as it was. We went across the street for dinner though which was nice. Our room was nice and clean however the toilet continued to run and we could not turn off. We could also hear ever single foot step in the building which woke us up. The pool was not heated and the pictures made it look like there was a jacuzzi but there was not. We were not able to swim as it was cold. Overall good short stay. Just had higher expectations. "

"Clean room, helpful owner. Plenty of breakfast options, starting at 8am. Convenient to have dinner there. Would recommend property. Can leave car at property and walk the 1.5km to Flora entrance and then to P3 boat dock, or drive part way and park near Flora entrance. Route C works well after boat docks at P2."

"When I booked, I thought I was booking a bed and breakfast, this is not a bed and breakfast and really there are no places around to get an early breakfast. When you click on the bed and breakfast vrbo, it flips to another sceen that doesn't say bed and breakfast. I don't think it was meant to be disceptive, it probably was a bed and breakfast at one time.Room is directly inside front door and to the left, bed and bathroom, couch, small table and closet. You have you own keys. Host seems very sweet, always smiled and waved when she saw us.It is super close to plitvice, easy to get to the yard around the house is really pretty. If you are looking for a basic room close to the park this feels very safe. This place works well"

"The owner offered us a welcome shot of snophs (spelling) that he made. We were the only guests and he made sure we got the full breakfast spread. We thought the property was new because so clean and new looking but actually 11 years. Very helpful with info on the park. Highly recommended"

"We enjoyed the lodge. Very nice new construction. Unfortunately they were cutting concrete and it was very loud, and the internet was not working. We also found some of there rules about bringing in food a bit strange. I’ve never seen corkage on food. The restaurant was good and prices were fair."
