"Beautiful example of local architecture. Awoke to birdsong . High quality linen and towels. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was great - Western style and very generous ! Staff were so lovely - extremely helpful and generous ! They arranged transfer to and from the railway station which was excellent . Provided a map of the city and restaurant recommendations . Very quick to use Google translate so communication was great. Highly recommend !"

"What a privilege to stay in such an old property with so much history. The room was a lovely size, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty too. "We found the hotel to have a lovely traditional atmosphere, the rooms were large, with many traditional features, we had Chinese breakfast that was interesting. Misha welcomed us and was extremely helpful, we had free tea, we were picked up and dropped off at the station, we loved her! And she spoke very good English! Lovely experience, we were very happy and impressed with it"
