Close to fort, stay just ok
Little overpriced for what it is and breakfast not included, which is bizarre in India. The service staff were all very sweet and helpful. Owner was a bit strange with us. Great views and right next to the fort, which is a big plus. Heritage property. Food just ok. Our friends stayed at a MUCH nicer place for similar price.

Old city charm
the staff was super friendly and always able to help. The blue city is buzzling with noise, sounds, sights but the haveli was quaint and restful. Highly recommend for an authentic experience

Booking Denied by Hotel
The hotel denied my booking in last minutes. Hence, I had to find another hotel on the spot.

The hotel is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from Mehrangarh Fort Gate in the old city. We stayed for one night, and the people at the hotel and the surrounding town were friendly and easy to spend time with. It may be unavoidable because the building is old, but unfortunately the shower drainage was poor. I would like to thank the manager for his help with sightseeing advice and transportation arrangements. thank you.

Hotel sympa, avec decoration agreable, differents sites de restauration avec tres belle vue sur le fort. Accueil agréable également. Prix du restaurant un peu élevés. Et bus dorange frais mélangé avec de l'eau, dommage. Et envoronnement bruyant (chiens hurlants), bon rapport qualité prix

The rooftop terrasse is standing over the whole of the blue city with a wonderful view of the fort. Our room was absolutely charming and with a wonderful view of the city and the fort. The service was perfect, especially helping us up and down with our heavy luggage (it is a lot of stairs but definitely worth it). We recommend strongly!

Beautiful old havelli in a great location with fantastic fort views. The staf were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was atmospheric and full of character.

Singhvi’s is a beautiful 500 year old Haveli in old Jodhpur. The staff are all amazing and take great care to make you feel very welcome! We stayed on the beautiful white room on the first floor, which had two (almost) full size beds, a massive lounging couch, a swing and a small seating area in it. The AC and two ceiling fans kept the room beautifully cook, despite it being 98 every day!

Area is dirty. Dogs bark & howl for hours at night. So noisy we couldn't sleep. Had booked 2 nights but left for better location & hotel after 1 night. Didn't get a refund. Very difficult stairs, even for people who are fit. 4 flights of stairs to get to restaurant, which has no kitchen up there so waiter has to keep going all the way down. Very hard to call waiter. Service very slow. Bathroom was very modern & clean.

Staff and building need work.
The manager was away, and it was very clear that the staff was not well trained. They didn’t pick up the trash. Their only housecleaning was replacing towels. They did not replace used tea cups or empty water bottles (one opened water bottle was left over from a previous tenant). And they were not easy to find when we wanted to order food. The building needs work, especially the plumbing - we had three rooms but could take a shower in only one. Finally, you need to know that it’s a six-story building with no lift, and the stairs are uneven and very steep.

When you arrive, you may be apprehensive because of the neighborhood but once you are shown the suite. Wow! That is a vintage room. It has the infrastructure of the queen’s room in the Fort. Impressive. Food was great, staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. Good stay.

Nice stay at Shingvi Haveli. Owner is always ready to help and reliable. Close to the fort part in the Blue city. The surrounding area is a bit sketchy 😉

A very warm and comfortable haveli
The haveli is located near fort and has a very beautiful scenery. I was able to take a rest in the haveli after sightseeing. And local bazar is near. You may expect convenience and comfortablity.

Home away from home
It was the best stay in our travel plan. Staying here was a complete experience as caretakers made sure that guests have everything they need. It was a family trip and everyone sensed positive vibes soon after entering. Property is in the heart of the city and roads are narrow but just ask them and they will help in getting you there. Thanks to owners for such hospitality and Thanks to Niranjan for tireless service.

Good Property for one night stay
Property is good, staff is professional. Pro: Good location very near to fort and awesome rooftop view. Cons: No parking at hotel you have to park at Station and take an auto, Bathrooms are not ventilated.

Loved our stay!
Not your parents’ Holiday Inn, but a very special place. A 500 year old haveli turned hotel, owned and well run by the original family. A great part of its charm is that while the hotel is centrally located it’s away from the Jodhpur hustle and bustle in a residential part of the Old City, on a street too narrow for a car. Tuck tucks do the trick. The owners where a great help when we needed it. splurge on a bigger room.

Stay at Singhvi's Haveli
I enjoyed the stay at this property. Though the room was small the hospitality of the staff was really good. Both restaurants are good, I especially liked the rooftop restaurant with Mehrangarh fort view. The property is located in a bit congested area and you have to be prepared to take tooktok, car does not reach there. So we have left our taxi at Jalori Gate Circle and then took tooktok to Haveli. My son especially liked the common area because of the swing, he was not ready to come to room :-). Overall the experience was good, if I get a chance to visit Jodhpur again i will certainly prefer this place but with rooftop room. :-)

Really nice and special hotel in the old City. Car can't reach, but you can hire a tuk tuk that will take you there in 5 min. Really nice. Very nice view. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

A very unique stay in an original haveli. Bathroom is recently renovated but the hot water pressure was very low and room is a little dusty so not great for asthmatics. Good location near the fort.

We had a great time here. Everyone made us feel welcome. Our first night in town, we had dinner on the roof with a view of the fort and it was excellent. The next night, we went to a top rated (tripadvisor) restaurant in town, and the food was disappointing, but cost twice as much! We would stay there again (and we would like to return to Jodhpur in general), but I would request extra pillows and possibly extra bedding to use as a mattress cover for the stiff bed. The only big issue we had was in transportation to the bus station (at the time of our stay, a bus trip was faster than a flight because there were no nonstop routes between Jodhpur and Udaipur that we could find) on our way out. A tuktuk was arranged the night before, but never showed up. We had to wake up one of the staff to call for another one, and when no one would come, he took his personal scooter to get one for us, which we really appreciated.

history revisited
a 500 years old history, a gift to the loyalist from King, a revisit to history: if this excites you, this is the place to stay. Situated in a narrow lane of old jodhpur, walking distance from the Mahrangarh fort. Amazing view from the hotel . however,this is not the place if you are looking urban comfort as this there is no elevator and even car can't reach to the place (as this is in old puzzling narrow lane, which even google can't locate). wonderful experience, after all we are in JODHPUR to revisit history and the era. in addition to this, courteous staff and good food. got a chance to meet the owner, and was good to know about the history from him, be there to experience it .

I don’t think I would stay here again. The rooms were quirky and cool but the WiFi only worked at the front desk, the shower was more like a cold trickle, and the budget rooms didn’t have AC, which I didn’t realize when I booked. Not sure if that was an oversight on my part or if it wasn’t clear in the listing. I upgraded to a different room on arrival but from the moment I arrived I felt a little bit like everything that happened next was a hustle. I asked about a Tuk tuk to the airport and was quoted a price double what I found by just leaving the hotel and grabbing one on the street. Little things like this made the overall experience much less positive.

Nice personal touch. Staff and owner go out of their way to provide an excellent service. It is a hidden gem in the old city if you don't mind the narrow streets. Would highly recommend for families and backpackers alike.
