「The location was great for the castle and the center of Stirling. The property and room was in really good condition and the sofa bed was made up to accommodate our family of 5. For a single room for all of us this worked surprisingly well - fairly spacious with a big bathroom. The parking, while an extra charge, was spacious and secure and we were able to leave the car there after checking out until 2pm as we toured the castle. Overall very happy with our experience.」

「This hotel was weird because we never saw anyone like a front desk clerk. I'm not even sure they have a front desk. We arrived around 8:30 PM and the entire hotel was locked/chained in the front, which was incredibly disconcerting. We finally realized there was a note on a side door with a phone number for after-hours help. Called it -- no answer. YIKES! Called again and someone said they'd come give us a key. So she gave us a key and left us to find our way upstairs to our room, which wasn't...

「A lovely little hotel slightly off the beaten track but within easy distance of Stirling and main routes to the highlands. Beautifully decorated. Excellent breakfast. The pub food is really good too should you need lunch or dinner. It was quite warm and humid when I visited with no a/c, although hotel provided a fan, which was helpful. It’s located at a busy intersection, so there is traffic, but given that it’s located in the country, there is still a sense of peace about it. Highly recommend.」
