  • Magnolia Cabin is located at the headwaters of the trophy trout section on the beautiful Watauga River. Magnolia is a small 500 square feet private cabin equipped with modern appliances & granite counter tops. Relax on our back deck! A guest favorite…our back deck is the place to enjoy the great outdoors while watching the river go by. You might even see someone catching a fish! Featuring a sitting area and fire pit, this relaxed setting is the perfect place to unwind. This section of the Watauga River is a fisherman's paradise! You can walk off the large covered back porch down to a wadable river to fish, kayak, or watch wildlife. Located on a country road, you would think you are a long way from civilization, but travel four miles down the road and you can pick up anything you need. The cabin is fully equipped with linens and all household items. All you need to bring is personal items and food. We hope you will enjoy it as much we do! We look forward to meeting you!

The perfect place for a long weekend trip in East Tennessee. Magnolia Cabin is ideal for a couple and is dog friendly. The property is very peaceful and this cabin provides privacy from the main lodging area. Comfortable bed, well set up kitchen and the sound of the Wautaga River...a lovely stay.

Very nice accommodations for 2, it has everything you need in a very nice setting next to the river. It was quiet, comfortable, and well stocked with a woodsy feel. Will stay there again, I’m sure.

Pet friendly! Didn’t need to bring anything but food! They had everything. Lots of privacy and beautiful views of the river and countryside. Had a wonderful every night. Can’t wait to go again. It was a fantastic get away.

The Magnolia Cabin was as described. A one bedroom one bathroom rustic cabin. Super cute and the covered porch over looking the Watauga river was amazing. We spent every morning having coffee on that porch. The property is well maintained and communication was handled quickly. The cabin has everything you need, just bring food. This property has other rentals available that are pet friendly, but we did not have any issues with dogs barking. We do not have a dog and were a little hesitant to rent a dog friendly property, but it worked out and we weren't bothered. I suspect if it was a problem, Phil would have handled it right away.
