The guy at the check in counter. Was very nice when we got here 2 people ahead of me n even though no one else was around to help I did not see anyone else he handle it well n was nice to us

Needs some basic updates.
Smoke alarm was hanging from wires in the ceiling. Bathrooms need grab ba r s since no treads in tub. Was a quiet place but needs some basic updates.

Very old and under kept. Exterior lighting all went off for the day at 545am. It was very dark and dangerous without lighting. HVAC stinks like mold/mildew. No screens in some windows. Apparently most rooms stink cause many windows were open. Skimpy continental breakfast with poor choices. I wouldn’t recommend.

I have stayed at this Super 8 motel in Johnstown several times on my way down to visit my cousin in Connecticut. The room is always extremely clean and staff very friendly. I highly recommend it. Great value for money.

Although there was a power outage not the hotel fault The staff was nice and the maid staff were focused on keeping rooms clean They did provide coffee and fresh juice and some breakfast to get you started in morning My room didn't have a refrigerator but I as able to get ice to keep my coolers cold to keep food fresh Room did have a microwave Good value 100 less than fancy holiday inn Accross street

Never Again
I don’t know where to start. I had booked online a room with 2 queen sized beds. My plane was delayed, so they wouldn't let my sister in law check in before me at 3:00. She had the credit card no I used and the confirmation no. So she went to dinner and came back and another clerk let her check in. What they gave us was a tiny cramped room right next to the noisy lobby with 1 double bed. The room was very dark. No closet, just a rack next to the bed. There was only one small desk lamp on the desk and that was it. No lamps on bedstands, not even an overhead light. No mirrors, except for bathroom. The bathroom was quite large, clean and bright. Only problem was the large mold spots on ceiling over shower. There was asmall window that led in very little light. Plus, the chain lock on the door was broken, leaving us feeling vulnerable. When we complained, they said that was the only room available. Unfortunately, we had a funeral the next day, so were stuck there since nothing else around was available. Imagine 2 women trying to get ready in the morning with no lights and no mirrors. Maybe other Super 8 motels are better, but I would never recommend this one.

Never coming back
Not good at all. We checked in and walked up the two flights to our room and discovered the deadbolt missing. We went downstairs and they told us that they were full. We told them that we didn’t feel safe without it, then said they could put us in a room where someone else. When we got into the new room and it was dirty and smelled sour. Disgusting brown marks on the wall, hair in the sink, lightbulbs missing. But we didn’t want to complain again. To add only last thing, their “continental breakfast” was cheap bagels and coffee. I am happy to say we will never be back. The only thing easy was the part hotels.com did.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The AC didn't work. The room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke I had to wash everything when we left. The hall reeked of marijuana. The shower curtain rod was broken on both ends so the curtain sagged down and wouldn't stay closed. Everything looked dingy and dirty. We saw them doing to laundry behind the check in counter and the amount they had stuffed in the washer, it was not even moving. I hate to think how dirty the sheets were. Never again

The room smelled like marijuana and dirty toilet. There were roaches on the bathroom floor. The towel racks in the bathroom were hanging off of the wall. Never thought anything related to a Wyndham property would look like this. Next time ill go camping
