It was a nice and calming location. The sound of the river through the open windows made it a very calming atmosphere. It was the perfect size for my family, just enough room to have your own space but be together at the same time. I would 100% stay here again.

This is a nice, unpretentious house sited above the Wallowa River south of Joseph. Nice deck view of the river. Comfortable, clean, and well-stocked with appliances etc. We enjoyed our stay.

Great home with an amazing back deck that has a wonderful view of the river! The sound of that river while sitting out there was fabulous!! The home was very clean and great comfortable beds! Only suggestion would be for some new pots and pans! We hope to visit again!

The location is very nice. Creek flowing by the backyard. The house is spacious. Everything is nice and beautiful except one black couch has melted surface which needs replacement.

Very nice home which was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The fireplace was a huge hit as weather was cooling down and a bit wet. Staff responded quickly to my one comment about the furnace air intake grill needing to be cleaned. Would gladly stay here again!

This place is lovely and relaxing. It was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals and restaurants are close when you don't feel like cooking. The view, deck, and grill all added to the relaxation factor. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend

This home was centrally located. On the main road but still quiet with a beautiful backyard right onto the river. We loved listening to it roar. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed. Lovely back deck to enjoy the views from as well. We will definitely choose this home again.

We were short a few bath towels - some adults had to share for the whole 3-day stay. The house was also pretty warm, 76 degrees inside even with the fans on (the ac that was outside must not be working or hooked up to where guests can use it). Other than those few things, we really enjoyed the stay. The back yard and back deck were amazing. The beds were comfortable. There was a few small shampoos and conditioners provided, but certainly not enough for the 5 adults we had staying for 3-days, so i’d plan on bringing your own. It would have been nice to have some beach/ lake towels available as well so we didn’t have to bring those on the airplane. We found the back road / bike trail that led to the campground which was nice since we had family staying there. Tried to get ahold of someone to see if there was early check in available, could not reach an actual person and we were tex about an hour prior to checkin that we could check in. For planning purposes with travel it would have been great to know that that morning.

We have stayed at this home multiple times as well as many other VACASA properties. I believe this home to be the best equipped of any home. Our family of 8 has everything they need. The view and the outside propery is beautiful and you can sit on the deck for hours listening to the water and staring at the mountains.

A perfect weekend getaway to see the majestic fall colors in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. The back porch to the cabin opens up to the river and a beautiful mountain scape. Walkable area to Wallowa Lake

We loved the cabin, such a great view. So close to mini golf, tram and lake. Check in was easy and they were very responsive to our questions. Cabin had everything we needed, very well stocked. Loved the fireplace.
