The house is very clean, and has almost everything you really needed. Very warm, roomy and amazing lake view by the window. The house is smaller size for 8 people staying, but for 4 adults and 1 toddler was perfect size.

Excellent cabin with amazing view and amenities!

The dock down to the water really makes this location. Had a blast fishing and swimming and the kids couldn't get enough of jumping in the water. The cabin is off the beaten path, down a road you wouldn't expect so the traffic is minimal (One car an hour, max). TV's in each room, wifi was great for football Sunday and the house was very clean. Will stay here again!

House with a view

We loved the beautiful view of the lake with a lovely deck for sitting, eating, relaxing; and dock access to the water for kayaking and SUP use. The house was plenty comfortable and had more than adequate supplies for kitchen, towels, games, etc. Wifi was good. Good value!

A Cozy home.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy home. We felt the kitchen is equipped good. Lots of games. Good tv and WiFi. Beautiful view right on the lake. Our only complaint is that they don’t mention in discription that parking is above home and have to pack luggage etc down and up 22 stairs.

Great but…

It was great but there needed to be more coffee mugs. I had to drink out of a measuring cup. The kitchen was not well stocked. The dishwasher was in the front yard, which was a pain with 6 people to do all dishes by hand. The hot tub and views were amazing!

Lakefront Holiday

Hot tub was nice but wish it wasn't under the deck. Deck could use some shoring up it feels like. House was clean and nice enough. Beds were comfy. Unless you're driving a long pickup or truck, easy enough to drove straight in and turn around in parking area to come out front facing. Backing in was rather iffy. Need to provide beach towels for hot tub. Thought the rental fee was kinda high for this house. Have stayed in 5 different homes or cabins at Wallowa Lake for comparison.

Great Honeymoon Stay!

My wife and I spent a week here for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time! Joseph and the surrounding area were absolutely beautiful. There was also lots of great little restaurants in town, and the people we met were very friendly. The house was nice and clean when we arrived. We particularly loved the wood burning fireplace and the access to the lake from the backyard. I very happy to be able to do some trout fishing from the bottom of the stairwell where the dock would be in the summer, and I managed to catch a few in the morning and evenings. The WiFi at the house was actually better than I expected for such a rural location, however our cell service was pretty spotty. Honestly, it didn't matter though. It was great to be able to unplug and relax there for a week. Overall, we had an amazing time and we would strongly consider coming back again!

Awesome Getaway!

The home was impeccably clean and had all the needed amenities to enjoy the hot tub and dock area as well as making meals and doing laundry, playing games, watching movies and just enjoying the scenery. We enjoyed walking up to top of Lakeview Dr. numerous times with a double stroller for a good workout. The home is much smaller than the pictures show and outside areas are in need of repair. (The deck, deck railing and steps) It is not the ideal place for littles ones or older folks…entry requires being able to navigate steep steps with all your food and luggage. Access to hot tub and lake also requires the ability to navigate many steep and unstable steps. We enjoyed hours of fishing off the dock as well as kayaking on the lake. The tram was wonderful!

We had a fabulous time staying here. The kitchen was stocked very well, there was wood provided for burning, the hot tub was in great condition, a wonderful size deck to sit on and enjoy the view and water. We went on 4/3 - 4/7 and the dock wasn't out yet, darn it! It would have been fantastic if weather had allowed it. The driveway is a little steep, stairs going down need a little work/adjustment (same with stairs going down to the water) but as long as you're paying attention, you'll be good. There was two refrigerators so we (multi family) LOVED the extra fridge space. There is not much of a yard to play on (such as we wanted to play catch with our son) but the road is right there, not super busy, so we played up there (we didnt want to play on the deck, windows and all). We would highly recommend this place. There was great communication with the site manager (although I only had service when in town). There is a land line that was a life saver (our hometown had a horrible wind storm and I needed to reach my house/dog sitter to make sure she was OK and everything outside was still staked down) a cell phone with no service sucks, I was so thankful for the land line.

I loved everything outside, being able to fish with my children first thing in the morning. We got this place because the doc for our boat will still be there by the time our vacation started. Lack of communication and hard to communicate with, I mean, it's only courtesy to let their guest know they are pulling the doc before they arrive. I understand nature has their say in the lake levels, but we got no notification ahead of time. We spoke to some locals and they told us the lake was lower than years passed and this time docs were pulled sooner than dated on site. Courtesy email would have been nice so that my family can plan ahead. The pictures of the house on the website are deceiving, makes the house look big, very small house but cozy and welcoming. We had a stranger walking around, oh wait, it was the hot tub maintenance people, again lack of communication from the host. But when we needed help with the toilet, the plunger was not working, we called the 24/7 line waited 45mins and nobody was answering, my wife had to get her hands dirty while I was away. They are not prompt to answer phone quickly for maintenance, bathroom almost flooded, glad my wife did quick thinking, the house was dirty when we arrived, dishes were dirty had food particles, bit disappointed. Bring your own seasonings, own soft TP (they have the one ply)... Thank you for allowing us to stay but i was not happy with lack of services such as prompt maintenance (reference to toilet not hot tub since we did not anything about the hot tub) or clean house. The only thing that made us happy was us, nature, the lake in front of us... You will get a five star if everything else was on point. Maybe we will visit again to see if any changes occur... See you later...
