Except we were email/ call 3 times with 24 hours before check-in (I couldn’t help but guessed it was due to they had nobody working after 9pm), everything was beating expectation. Room was decent. Service was excellent - TV remote was available (for our device to connect to hdmi) the minute we asked ; room was cleaned, bed were made, towel replaced, bathroom was cleaned, garbage was cleared daily - which was not the case in most of the motel. We were so excited to bbq in motel public area first time in our lives. The only area for improvement is wifi. But who cares?

We wound up arriving 90 minutes early and they were able to check us in anyway which was delightful. This is not a destination hotel and they don't pretend to be. it was a perfect place to stay while going and exploring Joshua Tree National park. it was clean, perfectly located, and had a good pool for colling off. The only real draw back was the WiFi got very slow as the hotel filled up and more people logged on. it very often failed for any kind of streaming for peak hours. Went to bed early and was well rested for the next day. Overall it was a win.

The property was functional but old. For example the couch in the room was very dirty and there was painters tape holding the seam down between the carpet and linoleum.

If you are looking for an easy place to stay with a great location, this is it! The rooms may be a bit dated, but it was perfect for a budget-friendly place to stay. Parking was included in a small lot, and the Motel is so close the cute shops and the entrance to the National Park. Check-in was a breeze, and speaking of breeze, the air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. We didn't spend much time in the room, and found it a perfect place to rest after our days full of activities!

I stay here everytime I go to Joshua Tree. The hotel is a great place to stay and very close to the park entrance. Check in is always super quick and the rooms are always super clean. I think they have a two night minimum when booking on Expedia as I can never get a room for just night, but on the trips whe I am staying multiple days this is the hotel I will always stay at!!

Room was clean. Stuff was basically OK. AC worked but it wasn’t crazy hot either - so can’t say how it would be in high temps. We did need to jimmy the vent a little to aim it, it was kinda broken that way. The fridge worked. The TV worked. The WiFi worked. The pool was decent. Stuff was a little rundown - but not terrible. Over all not disappointing, it was a good value. The bed was stiff. Biggest complaint was the pillows were terrible and there were no extras in the room. Staff was very friendly and overall not a bad stay.

Coffee pot didn't work and there was no coffee. Manager supplied me with a pouch, but coffee pot didn't work. Needed to get extra pillows from manager; only 2 flat pillows supplied with King size bed. Pool was clean but we didn't use it. No gym.
