“Our stay was soooo warm and welcoming!! Such a friendly and helpful barmaid 🥰!! To say how cheap it was i wasn't expecting as much as what we got. Stayed last night and for someone who is a very uneasy traveller that gets homesick easily i could not fault my stay at all and will most DEFINITELY stay again if i ever go to London regardless of where i need to be (concerts, trips etc..) i will happily pay the travel cost to stay here. “This was our second stay at The Royal Oak, and it was just as good as last time. It was very hot weather and the room already had a Dyson fan going when we checked in. We asked for another fan if possible and that was swiftly provided. The staff are so friendly and make staying here a joy. “There was a bit of mould on the grouting in the bathroom and some paint touch-up is required on the heating pipe in the bedroom area. “This was very much a last minute job, we were travelling home from 2 days in that London and were worn-out. This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again.”
