Featuring simultaneous ocean and mountain views, this cozy 3-bedroom cottage & 2-bedroom apartment is just five minutes from Downtown Juneau and a fifteen-minute drive to the Eaglecrest Ski Area. Featuring 2 full living spaces and kitchens

Originally constructed in the 1950's this rustic home features plenty of amenities and modern touches. Conveniently located on the water on Douglas Island, this quaint water view property is the perfect balance of accessibility and comfort. Easily access the historic city center to check out museums, locally owned shops, and a world-famous wild Alaskan seafood scene or check off all the boxes of an ultimate Alaskan adventure by skiing, fishing, hiking, or exploring all that the back country has to offer.

Juneau stands on one of the largest wilderness areas in the United States. Here you can spend your time viewing wildlife, taking the fishing trip of your life, exploring atop glaciers or enjoying the city’s shops, restaurants and artistic flare. With plenty of weekend events, concerts and festivals - there is always something to do, no matter the time of year. As life-long Juneau residents, we’re happy to help make your vacation a memorable experience.

The Halibut House is just 15 minutes from the Eaglecrest Ski Area, Juneau’s community-owned and operated ski area with big mountain terrain, 1620′ vertical drop, 640+ acres, impressive backcountry access, untracked powder, and hardly a lift line! In the summertime, check out go-to visitor spots such as the Mendenhall Glacier (just a 20 minute drive) or walk 10 minutes to visit the world-famous whale sculpture, Takhu and enjoy the ocean breeze as you peruse the newly constructed seawalk.

You'll have free reign of the upper & lower units of our property, including 3 parking spaces.

Parking is off street and next to the house, plenty of space for up to three vehicles. Downtown is less than a 5 minute drive and is a walkable distance as well.
