The delay wasn’t due to the hotel itself but rather an issue with Sun River, the third-party company Expedia uses. There was a small discrepancy in the booking amount (literally two cents!) that temporarily prevented me from checking in, despite having made my reservation four months in advance.
Thankfully, the front desk clerk, Bill, was extremely accommodating……
