"Lovely area with nice beaches very close. Must pay to rent beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Room was very clean, and jacuzzi with sand bottom was amazing."

"This condo has the most jaw-dropping view! It’s nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The tv’s and small kitchen appliances are very old…toaster quit working, neither tv would work (not that we watch tv on vacation, but at night would have been nice.) But those were small inconveniences compared to the location of this unit. The pool is fantastic and grounds are beautiful! We would definitely stay here again. "

"Very close to the beach and plenty of free parking. Bathroom was poorly maintained and smelled a little from poor plumbing or sewage. The balcony was nice too."

"I honestly didn’t expect such a great experience for the price. The place was clean, simple, and very comfortable from start to finish. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the location is amazing, right on the beach, quiet and relaxing. The hot tub was always available, and the pool and grill area were well maintained and enjoyable. Having a kitchen in the room was a huge plus… fully equipped with dishes, pots, and even a rice cooker, which made staying there very convenient. Overall, it was an effortless and relaxing stay, and we would definitely love to come back again."

"We stayed at Mahina Surf for our 30th Anniversary, for a week. We had a very smooth check in process, with great communication. The unit was exactly as mentioned and/or shown online, and it was Beautiful! It was fully equipped with everything you could need and then some, more than most hotel rooms. It was in an amazing location, right on the ocean and had an incomparable view of the sunset! There were also resident Green Sea Turtles resting nearby every night! Incredible! Dollie's pizza is super close and an ABC store too. They have a nice pool and we even saw a double rainbow bridging the gap between the view of islands, Lanai and Moloka'i! Definitely will be back!"

"Before I start, I’ve been to Maui 15 times and stayed at SOK before it turned into a “resort/hotel”. We’ve had great rooms there in the last. The room this time was clean and had the basics of what we needed including extra towels and toiletries. It is in desperate need of renovation, there was mold in the shower ceiling and several areas like the kitchen that were obvious water damage in the ceiling. The staff were friendly and gave us things we asked for like a new hair dryer. The “gym” is tiny and nearly useless for those that actually workout. There were no beach towels, chairs, cooler provided like you would typically see in a Maui condo. No A/C either, which isn’t uncommon in Maui but definitely unfortunate. Overall, it served its purpose and wasn’t bad, but wasn’t impressive. I would probably hesitate to stay again, but the price was fair and would if I couldn’t find something else that suited our needs better. "

"Could have used hot pads for cooking. Curtains were very dirty & would’ve like a heads up about the 6 days the water to the building was going to be off for the entire building. May have chosen another place. Beautiful spot"
