Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a comfortable and inviting space for your stay.

This handcrafted 1 bedroom retreat has become a place of calm and adventure, and we feel incredibly grateful to be able to create and share it with others seeking rest, connection and a little breathing space.

Flaxmill has been built on our 3 acre property with thoughtfully landscaped surroundings, plantings and carefully considered privacy screening. The landscaping and positioning creates natural separation of the two dwellings allowing you to relax and unwind in your own space.

Inside, the house is intentionally simplified - high ceiling, timber floors, heavy linen, wool rug, sheepskins. A comfy queen sized bed, dressed in European linen. A deep double, spacious full tiled shower that flows out to the outdoor concrete bath - imagine looking across the flats and up toward the mountains in a hot bubble bath. Truly beautiful in the evening, when the snow glows on a clear and starry night. We also have an outdoor barrel infra red sauna to enjoy, overlooking farmland and mountains.

We have unlimited starlink wifi - if you remember it exists !
