Beautiful place making our first visit to the island such a peaceful, relaxing stay! I enjoyed the open windows in our room. There was no air conditioning, but fans were provided. We visited during February and the temperatures would get down in the 60s at night. The only time we saw other guests was during breakfast or at night during our return. My favorite memory was the coqui frogs you can hear at night and the fresh baked goods put out every morning.

These warm, welcoming and courteous hosts provided us a sense of home away from home. Our space was clean and comfortable and communication with the hosts was very helpful to enhance our stay. The breakfast items provided included fresh fruit, fresh macadamia nuts and fresh baked goods daily. We hope you stay here and enjoy it as much as we did, the hot tub is a MUST after a long day of exploring Hawaii’s big island. We’d love to come back!

The room and bathroom were really clean! The property was absolutely beautiful with all of its mature growth and I found the vibe to be very spiritual which I love. This place doeshave a hot tub, but i never had time to use it, but the ambiance around it was very pretty! The bird sounds on the property was authentically like being in a jungle. The only thing that could have been alot better was the bed and the pillows. The owner was very nice and greeted us right when we arrived.

A long stop over, and an amazing stay.

Amazing building in the hills of Kona. If you do not mind being a bit out of the town for the joys of nature, this is a perfect place. Maybe a 10 minute drive to downtown restaurants, etc. if you love frogs croaking and chirping it is great. Gardens, beautiful flowers are a treat.

It was amazing to find the place and then we found it and it was in the jungle plants everywhere. It was absolutely beautiful and it was like a bed-and-breakfast so it was pretty nice. Coffee was good. Food was good and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

The B&B isn’t as excellent as I thought or read about. Maybe my expectation was too high, as I read rave reviews about it and then booked it. Hosts David and Miriam are friendly and helpful. Compared with another B&B we stayed during this trip, this one feels older, smaller and less privacy. The location is good, around 12 minutes’ drive from Kona downtown. Parking is free. Yards and gardens are well-kept and relaxing. We didn’t use the hot tub. Overall, I think the property could use some remodeling.

This place is a gem. It’s not too far from Kona Airport. We stayed in the Japanese tea room which is a very unique stay. It’s a very comfortable spacious room that has a very comfortable queen bed, nice t.v. With Amazon Prime, YouTube and other options for viewing entertainment, a BIG bathtub and a separate shower in the beautiful bathroom. The awesome part of this place though is Dave and his wife Miriam! They let you use basically all the amenities their property has to offer from the nice kitchen which has pretty much all ya need to cook your own meals (you’ll need to clean up after yourself), a jacuzzi, and in their common area Dave always has coffee ready in the morning you just hit the brew button and multiple teas are available as well. Miriam every morning sets out some baked good and fresh tea in the morning as well to get ya going. If you stay at this property you will go away feeling like you lived in Hawaii for your stay and not visiting like you feel in a normal hotel room. Very Wonderful Experience! Thank you Dave and Miriam.
