  • This top floor condo is spacious with open beam ceilings and an ocean view. It is located in the center of Kailua Kona. You can walk to the pier, to restaurants, shopping, even the bank and the grocery store are nearby. The condo has two bedrooms with California King beds, and two full bathrooms. There is also a single pull out bed in the living room, as well as a queen pull out. You can cook your meals in the full kitchen, and eat on the sunny lanai looking at the ocean. Fast wifi, in unit washer and dryer, a free parking stall, beach equipment, and air conditioning are included as well.

    This unit is tucked back off the main street, so it is also quiet. Save the money and the hassle on the rental car and parking, and stay in this convenient location. However, if you do have a car a free parking stall is included, and you can walk to most restaurants and shops on Alii drive without having to pay the parking fees.

    Please note, it is on the third floor, no elevator and only stairs. If this is an issue, please do not book my unit. Also, please don't rent a giant vehicle. The parking stall is a covered normal size stall, but there is a wall on one side. You may have to back out of the stall for your guests to easily get in and out of the vehicle.

The stay was clean, modern and well maintained and exactly as described. We had everything we needed and additionally there were some beach supplies which we did not use, but was a good to have in the room! Enjoyed the stay.

Erika was wonderful to work with! We had a possible flight cancellation and Erika was willing to wait until we got on our flight before taking another reservation in case we needed a place to stay!

This unit was perfect for my trip which included four adults and one child. My sister/brotherinlaw took the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. My wife and I took the loft which had a bedroom and bathroom. The daughter took a fold out couch on the main level. We ate meals on the lanai. We walked to grocery shopping and to a tour at the nearby public beach adjoining with the Marriott. We used the pool. We drove to beaches with the boogie boards and lawn chairs provided. Everything we needed was provided. Great location. Ocean view is a slight exaggeration but you could see the ocean from the lanai. Third floor might turn off some. But, absolutely fantastic for us.

Erika’s home was a great place to stay for our visit to the big island. Erika checked in to make sure we had no issues finding and gaining access. The process was easy and detailed. We could walk to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping in general. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

we really liked the place - matches the vrbo pics and description, and was very comfortable for four of us. Both bathrooms quite nice; kitchen fully functional, allowing us to do some eating in. Only a short walk to everything on Ali'i, including the nice small beach by the Marriott. Would definitely do it again

Great location and nice landlord.

The property is close to all the shops and restaurants by either driving or walking. The landlord Erika is very nice and helpful, which made me feel like she’s there for us if any needs arise. The property has everything we need which is handy. Mahalo Erika for making our stay at Big Island a great experience.

Kona in-town condo

The beds and furniture are very comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, the AC works great, the tap water tastes pretty good, and the grounds are lovely and well maintained. We found all the neighbors to be friendly and this place is wonderfully quiet. The pool, hot tub, lanai, washer/dryer and the car rental through turo are all bonuses and much appreciated. Everything in town is very close by, but be aware that the steep hills and flights of stairs can be strenuous. Overall we love this place and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely balcony & comfortable bedrooms. Was a bit tight for 5 adults. The parking space is tricky with a bigger car. Wish there was a French press or regular coffee maker. Keurig didn’t have a basket & being on Hawai’i, there are so many better coffee choices than Duncan Donuts. Overall, lovely place to stay and close to Kona In. Area.

Nice location but not good for elderly visitors

Decent unit, but, I did not notice in the unit description that my 83 year old mother had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get into the unit. Unit is dated, but worked for us. It does not have a dishwasher which meant that instead of loading a dishwasher and leaving, we had to be sure to clean up each day before we left. Some of the utensils had debris on them, so, I don’t know if the owner washes everything between visitors or if they’re counting on the visitors to be sure dishes are properly cleaned.
