Kona Bali Kai sits along Ali'i Drive on Kailua-Kona's sunny coast, close to Banyans Beach and the surf breaks that give this stretch its local energy. Magic Sands Beach Park is about a mile away, with Pāhoehoe Beach Park roughly three-quarters of a mile in the other direction from the complex. Da Poke Shack is nearby for a casual local meal, and the road leads north toward Kona town's shops, harbor, and sunset walks. Kahalu'u Beach Park is farther south for snorkeling. It is an easy base for couples and families who want to make the beach part of every day, not a special outing.



Getting Around:

Kona International Airport (KOA) is about 10 to 15 minutes from Kailua Kona. A rental car is recommended for exploring the Kona Coast, although downtown shops, restaurants, and oceanfront Alii Drive may be walkable or a short drive away. Beaches, snorkeling, and groceries are nearby. Parking is generally available at properties or in nearby street and lot spaces.
