Great spot to explore the far north from

Great little cabin tucked up in the hills in a way that gives both stunning views and privacy. We used it as a base to explore the far north - for the extra 5 mins drive back to Kaitaia, this was a great option for us. Being able to take the dog was great and the endless beach at the bottom of the hill was incredible.

Stunning views over Shipwreck bay and 90 mile beach. The place was perfect and had everything we needed for the weekend. Plenty of amazing things to do in the area and Yasmin had prepared a helpful book of information/local tips for Ahipara and beyond. Thanks!

This cute cabin was everything we needed and more. So comfortable and Yasmin is a wonderful host.. she made sure we had all we needed. They are super friendly. Would recommend to anyone who just needed to get away..

A magic experience in paradise

We loved our stay at the wonderful eco cabin, elevated but sheltered amongst forest and tropical palms with expansive wow factor beach and ocean views. We were very comfortable and had all that we needed. Our hosts were wonderful and Yarmin offered us extra free nights while Hurricane Gabrielle made travelling difficult.

Idyllic spot with lovely privacy

This was our first experience of an eco-cabin and we were very impressed. The cabin was beautifully clean and the bed really comfortable. Going to sleep and waking to the sound of the waves while looking up at the lovely timber ceiling was very soothing and relaxing. The shower and toilet off the deck was really well done, water pressure adequate. If you’re looking for peace and quiet with an unbeatable view, try this Eco-cabin!We almost came unstuck with the check-in process thinking that Jasmin’s lovely welcome meant that we were booked in. If she hadn’t double checked we would have missed out. Thank you Jasmin for your warmth and efficiency

Great lookout spot

Overall, loved it. Bathroom was A1 but we saw teeth flossers and a few things laying on the ground. Plus we did not use the BBQ because it needed a good clean. Could have used an extra plate or two.The cabin was very clean and the location was quiet and secluded. Despite a couple of minor things, I would stay here again. Never saw the owner, or anyone else actually.

very laid back and relaxing, everything was on hand with everything needed for our stay, and the view from the deck just as the photo show's .. Only draw back was the steep drive up to the cabin a bit scary when wet
