"This is a great place to have an authentic Japanese experience. The traditional rooms with tatami floors were spacious and clean. The bedding was light and warm. The onsen experience was very pleasant. The traditional breakfast was flavorful and so were the welcome snacks. Definitely a valuable experience for those visiting the area."

"文化財に登録されるだけあって重厚で趣のある素晴らしい建物です。柱や梁の太さ、床板の厚み、上り框の立派さ、どれをとっても素晴らしい建築物です。
ご亭主や女将さんはとても親しみやすくとてもゆっくりくつろげました。
お料理は自家製の山菜料理や地元の食材をふんだんに使った物でとても美味しくいただきました。また温泉はさっぱりとした湯上がりでとても温まります。地元の方のお話も聞けてとても良い思い出になりました。家内もとても喜んでいます。
また機会があれば是非訪れてみたい所です。"

"4連泊しましたが、料理会場に準備されていた食事が毎回、全く同じ物で、料理会場に出向くのがかなりの苦痛だった。ビジネスホテルなら仕方ないとも感じるが、リゾート地で客商売をしているならば、せめて日替わりのメニューを７種類ぐらいはレパートリーとして準備すべきでは？？？客もスタッフもあまり笑顔がない様な気がしました。"
