Moldy coffee in the coffee maker, dirty linens in laundry bins in bedrooms, fridge was funky with leftover food, house smelled like wet dog, generally didn't feel clean, yet we paid more than 325 cleaning fee. The ancillary sleeping area/game room was very disheveled and also not clean. 」

「Not sure if VRBO , EXPEDIA or the host were responsible but the house was booked out from under us. We did not find out until late afternoon the day of check in. We were stranded 2 hours away from home. All hotels in the area were booked because of Fathers Day weekend. Yes, I did get a full refund. This was the worst experience I've ever had. 「Absolutely fantastic cozy little spot. Beds were so comfortable, slept like a rock. There is lots of little history around items in the house that make it so charming. Close enough to civilization but also just out enough to feel secluded. Wonderful time.」
