A real Greek life
Kalamaria is schism of what Greek life may be like. There were 3 Laiki (Open markets) in short walking distance. The stall owners were very reliable and even gave discount at times…guess there’s very few tourists shopping there. There’s a square in the middle of stores and apartment buildings that the residents gather with their neighbors or friends while children playing in the square. Λοκιμαδες vendor (donuts covered with honey & sugar) gave me a discount since I was last customer of the evening. I felt like I was a part of the community. The unit is conveniently located and had all the needed items for a most comfortable stay. Owner who also owns a yachting business for trips in the area, also speaks fluent English, Spanish, and French; while his wife fluently communicates in Russian.
