“George and his family were very welcoming and helpful! George gave us home made cookies, a fruit plate and bottle of raki when we arrived to the hotel, which was very kind. It was easy to be in touch with them, they answered to messages quickly and helped us. The room was clean and the area around the hotel was beautiful. Would definitely come back.”

“A great stopover location for our first night in Crete. We arrived too late to collect our hire car so wanted a hotel near the airport to make it easy to return the next morning. Booked a double room and was given a two bedroom apartment with lounge, kitchenette and patio overlooking an excellent pool. Communication from the owner in advance of arrival was excellent. Service on arrival was first class. Be aware there is no catering or bar onsite, but there is a Taverna about 10 minutes walk……

“Our family of 6 stayed in this very lovely, clean villa in Kalathas, Crete, which is a wonderful location. The beach near the Villa is beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas (you have to pay for them)! We did drive to the beach which is about 1 mile away. The Villa is only a 15-20 minute drive to Chania. The pool was beautiful and clean. There are 12 apartments, and it was quiet and serene. We really enjoyed our stay which slept 6 people comfortably. “We stayed at Alianthos Suites for a quiet getaway away from the busy center of Chania, and the location was exactly what we wanted. The area is peaceful, and the pool area is lovely for relaxing. We also loved having a semi-private sandy beach within walking distance and the fantastic Irene's Tavern nearby for authentic meals. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch to start the day. However, the rooms are quite dated. The bathroom and closets feel like they haven't been touched in years,……

“Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir konnten die Altstadt bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Das Frühstück war lecker und der Garten in dem wir es serviert bekommen haben, war sehr schön. Wir sind im Feierabendverkehr angereist und mussten zunächst etwas suchen, konnten dann aber auch einen Parkplatz in einer Querstraße finden. ”

“Lovely big space with a great terrace. Hot water is solar but has a heater if needed. Kitchen is quite well equipped although youre so close to so much good food, you won't need it. Washing machine is a total bonus. Parking isnt allowed directly outside but we had no problem parking in the next street after dropping off bags. Call the owner on arrival and you'll be inside 5 minutes later. We would absolutely stay again. ”
