“We enjoined our stay very much, but I want to offer some constructive criticisms. It took us 45 min. to find the VRBO with our GPS, since info provided does not lead anyone to the condo. The building this unit is in does not have a number on it. When we finally found the condo, inside we found a 3 ring notebook with the detailed location of all buildings in the Schuss Mountain resort area which I photographed below. This should have provided with the Key info. When booking I asked for a……

“Beautiful surroundings, saw many deer in the backyard! Quiet, relaxing, peaceful. Would have been even better with a king-size bed and comfy mattress. Host was excellent!”

“Nice location and friendly host!”

“The space was well appointed and needed items such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and dishwasher tablets were all there. Family Fare grocery store is across the street for any foods items I needed. There was only one small ice tray, so buying bagged ice is required. Additional trays would have been nice. There is no outdoor space for sitting outside. Parking is very limited. A sign in the unit would be worthwhile to indicate where parking is allowed. Overall I enjoyed my stay.”

“The host was very responsive to requests. The cabin had amenities we could use. Pontoon boats and sauna. But were available”

“Great location for Shanty Creek golfing. Well stocked kitchen. Nice fire pit with plenty of wood provided. Would stay here again.”

“Great stay and an excellent host! Communication was prompt and friendly from start to finish. We were able to check in early, and when I asked about an iron, the host brought one over for us. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We’d happily stay here again.”

“The only issue we had was the wifi network name we were given wasn't one of the names we had to choose from. We weren't able to use wifi. Other then that everything was perfect.”

“Centrally located just outside of downtown Elk Rapids. The home is within walking distance to downtown ER, the beach, the Shorts Pull Barn & nearby grocery store. It’s a great jumping off point for day trips to TC, Petoskey, Bellaire and more. Despite being located off a main road, the home is quiet & offers a peaceful setting. All of the rooms include large smart TVs, and comfortable beds. Communication with the host was seamless, responsive and informative. Pricing was a great value, providing……

“Clean, great area! Great for kids and families to go for a long weekend. Very close to downtown elk rapids, we will be back!”

“The house is so sweet and cozy, and it has everything you could possibly need for cooking! The beds were super comfortable, and I'm really glad we chose this place. We had a wonderful time and made some lovely memories together. One little suggestion – it would be nice to have a sign at the entrance because we all struggled to find it at first. Overall, a fantastic stay!”
