Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, Bad Schandau selbst in ca. 20 Minuten. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Bastei in Lohmen (plus Fußweg zur Basteibrücke), das Prebischtor in Tschechien oder die Festung Königstein sind in rund 30 Minuten zu erreichen.
