For me Speke Hotel was nearly perfect. The location was close enough to the heart of the city but in a very quiet district. The onsite dining and food options were diverse and very entertaining, with a great ambiance. Excellent hospitality, warm, caring and eager without motive, always available and accommodating. Thank you Darshan and staff for making my stay there very memorable. I will see you again my friend.

Speke staff are like family to us!

The staff is WONDERFUL! (That’s why we continue to come to the Speke) A bag was delayed on arrival, and when it came a couple days later, the staff (Robert!) secured it for over a week until we returned.

Ambiance and price friendly hotel in City Center

The hotel is very reasonably priced to nearby alternatives - and very conveniently located - in Kampala city. The hotel has a nice old ambiance .... some services are a bit run down and the breakfast is of poor quality. The staff is friendly and old school. The hotel doesn't have a gym - but its sister hotels have and you get access to those excellent facilities (a 12-minute drive). .
