Welcome to Mango Cottage

  • PLEASE NOTE: Listed rates are based on two guests. An additional $40/nt per guest will be added. Please enclose the total number of guest when booking (including children)... Mango Cottage is an original beach house located at the private and quiet end of Puako Beach Dr. The Cottage is a minute walk to the Paniau beach access which is a well known and popular beach for snorkeling. Recent renovations give the Cottage all the modern amenities, while maintaining the relaxed and tranquil feeling of an earlier era. There is one bedroom which includes the outdoor shower, one bathroom with indoor shower, and an extra full size bed in the alcove off the living area. The Cottage shares the property with Mango Hale (vrbo#67917) and can be rented together for larger groups and families. The property is surrounded by a lush lawn, mango and coconut trees, which provide a cool and comfortable environment. The vaulted ceiling and open gable end design allows the breezes to fill the room.The bedroom includes a queen size bed and split duct air conditioning.

This place is an absolute gem and it was our privilege to stay. The cottage has everything you could need with a wonderful energy and ambience, we had a hard time dragging ourselves away from the patio to explore the ocean just steps away. Would love the opportunity to come back, Scott and his family are lovely!

Beach chairs, towels, etc. available. Very short walk to local beach access. Or short drive to other beaches. Even shorter drive to a neighborhood general store for any staples, cold treats, and fresh poké you want. And it’s called Mango Cottage for good reason; we arrived at the tail end of the season and enjoyed at least a couple varieties and ripeness of mangoes, all delicious. Hosts were very responsive and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend!

Small & sweet. Loved our stay here. The neighbor hood was quiet and you could walk the very long street every morning/eve and pop in to the beaches along the way. We love the north coast rather than the hustle/bustle of Kona town. Scott was a kind, accommodating host and cottage was well equipped.

The beach was very close by and so easy to get to. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. It was adorable inside and out. It was in a private area with a beautiful view of the mountains from our road and a sandy beach nearby. We will def be returning.

Perfect!

The Mango Cottage was the perfect place to spend our last 5 days on the island. The location is fantastic, the neighborhood is quiet and the cottage is beautifully landscaped and comfortable. Friendly and accommodating hosts made the stay even better. We hope to return soon!

Mango Cottage stay

This was such an excellent place to stay. Location on Puako Rd is a great part of island and super access to snorkeling and shoreline. The Mango Cottage had very nice quality amenities and Rick was so kind and helpful at every turn. I am for sure hoping to plan another trip back to stay at this property. I thought it was a very good value for all of the amenities and location.

Nice and Easy beach getaway

Every think about our stay at Mango Cottage in Puako was nice and easy. Location just off the beach was a breeze. The cottage was clean and simple. And Scott, the host, was responsive and helpful at all times.
