Excellent overall. Historic inn, so rooms are older and a few things like sticky doors and limited plugs in walls (several were available in the tv stand), were not surprising or made the stay difficult. Excellent service.

Loved staying at the lodge. It was very accessible to the entire downtown and restaurants. We walked to dinner and then the next day to lunch. The pool and fire pits were definitely a bonus. We had an enjoyable stay.

We were literally just "passing through" and our only regret with staying at the Parry Lodge is that we didn't have another day to just enjoy it. The history of the place is palpable, yet, it was very comfortable to be at. We loved the downtown area just across the street and were able to visit a few of the store fronts before leaving town. The check in staff nicely informed us what our dining options were for the night, as they are often limited on a Sunday in Utah. We had a very pleasant, although too short, stay. My kids loved the pool area with the fire pits, and we were able to enjoy the breakfast buffet. I want to know more of the history of the Old Barn Playhouse. We popped our head in, but I bet that place has seen a lot of activity through the years.

The staff and breakfast were amazing. Truly. Wonderful breakfast. The room needed updating. Several of the wall plug-ins did not work. The shower room's floor was covered in dust and fur balls. The beds were good but the rest of the room's amenities were dated and/or non-functioning.

Ci siamo sentiti un po’ attori anche noi, sedendoci davanti allo specchio della camera. Ottima struttura, camera spaziosa e ottima pulizia. Bello ripercorrere la storia di questo albergo, ai tempi della Little Hollywood. Abbiamo provato anche la colazione, da 10 e lode. Bella anche la piscina!

This was a fun night’s stay in the Julie Newmar room next to the John Wayne. Fess Parker room was across the courtyard. We had our own inner courtyard with porch and rocking chairs. Had we gotten in earlier, we would have taken advantage of the pool and firepit. The 50’ western vibe was great and it’s a great longer stop for families going to Zion. Bed was great, shower was hot and buffet breakfast made an easy start to the day’s drive.

Parry Lodge when Western Movie Stars filmed in town.

The Julie Newmar. Amazing how stars from an earlier time stayed.

We've visited Kanab several times in the last few years and always assumed the Parry Lodge was above our budget just because it's looks so cool! But we discovered it is the best deal for a charming stay. We will be recommending it to our friends!!
