The staff were excellent and extraordinary welcoming. We are an elderly couple and the staff took care of us like we were their own children. The chief went out of his way to ask me what food I liked and cooked it especially just to make us feel welcome. That was not necessary but the warmth of the team made our holiday excellent. So clean and wonderful.

The staff were very welcoming and lovely. The room was nice and clean and the hotel was very picturesque. The staff made it even more special by a surprise birthday cake for my brother which was beautiful . Thank you so much.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Lots of space to relax insideband on the decking. Jacuzzi was a bonus. There were many swtiches in the room controlling lights etc which was confusing. Pool lining was loose but pool and pool area was clean. Staff were very helpful and freindly.

Fantastic resort. Superb service from front office. Excellent rooms on 2 levels- very spacious. Loved it. Nice ambience and not far from the rock !

Great hotel to start in Dambulla.

Rooms are excellent. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Food quality needs significant improvement for foreign guests especially Indian.

Food needs improvement

Reasonable rooms, but because of the lime scale in the water staff are unable to clean the bathrooms adequately. Food at the hotel awful needs improvement cold, I summise they are unable to get a decent chef due to the location. Breakfast was terrible tour groups their focus.

Großes Hotel in einer wunderschönen Gegend,

leider gibt es keine Moskitonetze im Zimmer obwohl das Hotel am See liegt. Schade! Denn sonst ist die Ausstattung, Essen und Pool super.

Stay here - it's amazing!

My husband and I LOVED this hotel. The service was excellent, the pool is beautiful, and I also enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa. We did not try the dinner buffet, but ordered off the menu and the food was fantastic. For 110 US dollars we had a deluxe two story room with 3 beds and 2 air conditioners. Loved it!

Unfortunately more Paradise lost than found. The hotel is in need of refurbishment - pool area was reasonable as was the spa services which were excellent. That is were the accolades stop, rooms are tired and very dark and the food and service was poor, the hotel and staff were soulless, this was probably a good place to stay a decade ago but it has lost its sparkle.

朝食ブッフェは南国フルーツやスリランカン料理が充実しており美味しかった。 2階建てのヴィラは天井が高く開放的で、 バスルームは、洗面ボウルが2つあり使いやすかった。 また、現地情報を提供してくれるなど親切なスタッフの対応に快適に過ごせた。

森の中にある静かなホテル

ダンブッラ、シギリアの中間地点。ポロンナルワにも１時間で行ける。 この辺りにはお店が何も無いので、夕食も必然的にホテルで取ることになります。バイキングオンリー。 ３泊しましたが、メニューも微妙に変えていて、それほど飽きなかった。欧米人率高し。 水圧はやや弱いが、シャワーヘッドが動くタイプなのがありがたい。 部屋は広々としていて、コンセントも沢山ある。Wi-fiは部屋で使えるが、明け方は入らなかったり、弱い時間帯があった。

A relaxing retreat

We stayed her as a base between Polonaruwa and Sigiriya. Our driver struggled to find it but we got there in the end. We were happy with our room, we booked a superior room with 2 floors and an outdoor hot tub (which we used and was very nice). Clean, comfortable and very spacious room. Downside is that the blinds offered little privacy into our bedroom or bathroom and you could see in from outside quite easily. Restaurant for breakfast was fine, catered well for groups and there was a wide choice of food. We felt that the evening buffet looked tired and was too expensive. We ordered a la carte and thought it was good value. We would stay again if in the area.

Happy days at the Spa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the rooms were great and spacious over two floors, great garden/ landscape, spa, swimmimg pool, helpful staff etc. Food was buffet or a la carte and with a wide choice of eastern/western cuisine it was set quite a distance from the town, in the outback with all the creature comforts. We enjoyed the peaceful location.

Très bon hotel

Très bon hôtel. La qualité est très bonne ainsi que la piscine. De qualité et à proximité de Dambulla et Sigirya. Cependant, pour se balader dans les lieux touristiques, la voiture est nécessaire.

Beautiful surroundings and friendly staff

Beautiful location, excellent facilities and friendly and attentive staff. Food was good but a bit pricey if you don't book half or full board basis. Beverages list was also expensive and the same goes to the spa which is a shame because they have Thai masseuses. But the place and the people working there were amazing!Thanks Krishi for looking after us so well! We had a wonderful time!

A good hotel that can be made better

We stayed there for two nights. The staff were friendly and attended to our needs as and when they arose. The road leading to the hotel needs betterment. Food was good and had variety.

Excellent Hotel if you are going to the Sigiriya

Nice hotel with individual two floor cottages hosting a big bed and a modern bathroom. Great Swimming pool is at the property. We had a great day climbing up the 1200 steps to the top of Sigiriya Rock which is nearby the Hotel.

Nice hotel, a bit far from Dambulla bus station

Need to take a tuktuk to the hotel from Dambulla bus station, ~700 rupees. Fantastic rooms and courteous staff.
