“Just spent 3 relaxing days at Maddox Farm .What a lovely warm home to relax in and enjoy the beautiful views .The animals were so friendly and we spent lots of time feeding the goats .The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed.Sam was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome .We will be back .”

“Our retreat here was beyond a pleasant experience! the hosts were kind enough to leave us farm fresh eggs from some lovely ladies you are welcomed to feed kitchen scraps. (no onion), they also supplied us with bacon, muesli and bread from berry’s local bakery, and more! due to us poorly planning it was raining whilst we were there— however we didn’t let that taint our time on the beautiful five acres of land! we lit the preset fireplace and burned through their kindling. The rain only invited a……

“Very cute and perfect size for a weekend away. Only just out of town by car. The DVD collection was huge! And the small kitchen area had everything we needed, with a BBQ and fire pit outside. That and the reverse cycle kept us warm. We’d definitely stay again.”

“Cute little coffee/post office at the top of the street. Was lovely and close to our wedding venue we were attending ”

“The Loft area worked very well for us. Two travellers and a dog. The space was very clean, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom had a great shower with lots of hot water and my granddaughter enjoyed the seperate bath each of our 4 nights. It rained our entire time and I have to sincerely thank our host, Lyndall, who put fresh large towels across our entrance each day knowing that 2 people with wet shoes and a dog with 4 wet paws needed to get in and dry off. A very nice breakfast was……

“The cottage was great. Surrounded by farmland and wild kangaroos. The amenities were good, the bathtub out front isn't usable though.I'd recommend stargazing from the firepit outside on a clear night.”

“The view from Martha’s Villa is lovely. Loved being surrounded by nature. Villa Is quaint, lovely furnishings. Wonderful place to unwind relax and chill. Suzette”

“Very beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. Had a very peaceful time surrounded with nature and also had good experience surrounded by animals like wombat, kangaroos, horses etc.”

“Great, nice and close to town. Super clean .warm and it was a godsend with the cold weather. Was there for work. Will definitely re book if visiting the area again.”

“The address is 8-10 but there is no 8. The instructions about a button to press to get in are out of date. The reality is that the gates are open all the time and the studio is on the right. A kindly chap was putting out the bins when we arrived and he directed us. Otherwise we would have had difficulty, especially at night. It is a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of sniffing for dogs to enjoy. Bring a torch. Very dark at night. Your dog must be on lead at all times while outside.”

“The cottage was lovely & cosy”

“The property had its own pet dog, which my son got to go and have pats with! We didn't have our own pets there so not applicable from our end. We only used the upstairs area of the house so can't comment on overall facilities. Pool did look nice for a dip if it was summer though!”
