The room and property were dirty. There were homeless people roaming outside the rooms and we didn't feel safe. After checking in and going to the room, we immediately checked out and did not stay as we just did not feel safe or want to stay in this nasty hotel.

I really didnt like much...Maybe the beds were OK. Front desk people were nice NO HOUSEKEEPING! Small bath towels NO kitchen utensils, pots,pans, glasses...ANYTHING Poor pillows...made of rubbery material Continental breakfast was nothing more than WEAK coffee a muffin and granola bar. NO juice...NO fruit This really ISNT a hotel, but a small run down studio apartment for those that need a long term stay... BUT...the prices DIDNT reflect that

Avoid

Arrived at 5:30pm and was asked to wait two hours for a room. There were already several people waiting for rooms and I knew it would be hours, not two hours. The front desk area was very dirty a good indication that the rooms would be as well. We decided this hotel wasn’t for us so we canceled and left to find another hotel.

Hotel needs major renovation and a cleaning crew

When we arrived the room was disgusting. It was so dirty and the furnishings were is terrible condition. We only stayed one night because of the hotel conditions we advised the front desk how terrible it was and the reaction was just an okay. Customer service poor. Room quality poor hotel as a whole horrible

CC Plaza not what it used to be.

Staying in KC near the Country Club Plaza for convenience of access to business and family events. The Plaza is not what it used to be. This facility has a significant population of temporary housing for displaced folks who are struggling in life. The room was dirty, broken, not fully furnished, and the floors sloped quite a bit. The front desk was friendly, and early check in was available for a reasonable fee. There are still some fun things to do in the area. However, this area is very much in decline.

Meh... average stay

The bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. The shower was also flowing well. Furnishings and appliances were very dated and even moldy in places. We were able to check in early, which I appreciated. Every morning, however, we had to walk through a gauntlet of smokers sitting on the steps and hovering around the parking lot. Somewhat unsettling.

The rooms are older, but clean. All of the staff were nice and professional. During April 2025, there was road construction on the streets in front of the hotel so it was a little tricky driving onto the property.

Hotel was very clean and smelled clean! Customer service was friendly and helpful! My second time staying there, I would stay again! Next time I’ll have to ask for a room that’s closer to the elevator ! I was all the way to then end of the hall and with bad knees it was a struggle for me!! Otherwise a pretty nice hotel for the room price!

Worst experience

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. There was about 6 people waiting when I arrived to check in. There was no one at the desk to help. Once someone showed up to the desk , we were told the system was down and was not given a key to our room. Having the front desk person have to personally unlock the door for you every time you left your room…there were homeless sitting on the floors in the hallway upon exiting the elevator. Our room was non-smoking & smelled like 20 years of smoke & like homeless were living there. There was no daily cleaning. Early in the morning we had some random person (not a worker) knocking on our door for about 5 mins before walking away. (We didn’t open the door) Overall was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel.

This property should not be charging people to stay here until it is all renovated and fixed! Our first room had a rusted out shower and broken bathroom sink, it had a foul odor. The second room has a chipped up sink, toilet that is so low to the ground my 88 yr old mother could hardly get that low and back up, the door bracket on top fell off and the door became unstable and luckily my song was there to grab it and fix it, the refrigerator started making a loud noise in the night, the shower is filthy and the flooring/molding is all coming apart with rust in areas. The beds and pillows are not comfortable at all. The hotel is filthy overall from the time you walk in. When we go to our car there are trash barrels stored in the corridor full of trash that stink horribly. We are in KC celebrating my Mom’s 88th bday and we requested a view of the Plaza. This property claims it’s on the Plaza in description which it is not, nor are there any rooms with a Plaza view. The advertisement says there is a breakfast but fails to mention it’s not an actual sit down breakfast but is oatmeal but no bowls, granola bars and muffins grab and go style. My Mom is diabetic and this high carb option is not ideal. I feel the description of this property is very misleading and the condition of this hotel is not safe, sanitary and is completely unhealthy. I am very disappointed we came to celebrate a fabulous milestone for my Mom and Extended Stay had such a poor property with unsafe conditions.
