Midtown Getaway
Designed with families and groups in mind, this stunning 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home was recently renovated to sleep up to 8 people.
Nestled in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood, this urban oasis is walking distance to Westport bars and restaurants and is surrounded by some of the most iconic Kansas City sights (Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, Country Club Plaza, World War I Museum and Memorial, Hallmark Crown Center, Union Station).
The space
This home is the perfect retreat for the whole family or a group. Enjoy the privacy of 5 bedrooms, each with luxury bedding and plenty of room for couples.
The open floor plan on the main level is perfect for gatherings, featuring a large dining room table and a beautiful kitchen complete with all the necessities for cooking an at-home meal.
Please note: There is an exterior staircase of about 8 steps leading up to the house in addition to the porch steps (keep in mind if you are booking with elderly guests).***
Pet fee is $35 per fet***

Roomy & Comfortable
Overall it was a good stay. Plenty of room, comfy beds, and all the appliances we needed. There was even coffee and creamer so 2 less things to buy. The host was very friendly. The large table was great for meals and cards. The faux fireplace gave the ambiance for relaxing. Our only negative was the neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at night. One man was screaming walking down the sidewalk and others were hollering out at him. Maybe it was a one time incident but not sure.

Dogs welcome
Stayed here with my son and his family over Christmas. It was great to have room to stretch out and relax. It's hard to find places that allow pets so that was fantastic. It has a large yard for them to run around. Very happy with this place.

Bring your own chairs so you can sit on the porch. Interesting/sketchy neighborhood but house has plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms which was great for family gathering.

Updated Historic Home
Large updated home with a great fenced backyard for fur babies. Our king bedroom was clean and comfortable with cold AC. We came in for a ballgame and location seemed great. Neighborhood had several unkept properties but we had no problems during our visit. Attentive owner who had quick responses to any questions. Enjoyed visits to Jack Stack BBQ, Jax Oyster House and the Plaza as well. Fun city!
