The ranch was perfect for our little family reunion!

We live in Minnesota & traveled to Kansas to spend time with our family that lives in Kansas. The house was absolutely wonderful for this! There’s enough room to host family gatherings during the day and have plenty of space to “play.” We set up games outside, went for walks, fished in the little pond, visited the cows across the street, and walked to the beautiful winery for live music & fabulous wine (it’s on the property!). All was wonderful & the house is gorgeous! Thank you!!

peaceful retreat weekend

Family Time for Spring Break

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The house accommodated our family of ten comfortably. Fishing at the pond, hiking and sitting by the firewall were highlights. We would highly recommend staying here.

Super Bowl

Fantastic local getaway for a super bowl party. Beautiful property, great hospitality, awesome fireplace and hearth room! Price was great. Will stay again. Enjoy!

Family Thanksgiving

It was amazing…. The pics online sold us on the Property but they didn’t do it justice it was one of the best places we have ever stayed and we have stayed at several top level properties and this one is in a class of its own. As are the owners Mike and Denise! Hope we get an opportunity to come back…

Family getaway

This property was beautiful, peaceful and roomy enough for our whole family. The owners were so helpful and easy to work with. We were glad we could stay out of town in a country setting but still be close enough to Kansas City. Highly recommend.

The accommodations/amenities were amazing. Denise & Mike thought of everything. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on location is the gravel road.

Wonderful getaway in the country!

Beautiful cabin on a spacious, well-kept farm in the country. The cabin had more than enough room (including a large patio, a deck, and a front porch) for our family of 8 adults. It is a ways out of KC, which can be a plus or minus, depending on your needs. For us, it was perfect, and we loved our time there!

Family get away

This cabin was beautiful and spacious. The sleeping arrangements was the only drawback for us. There are 4 bedroom but none are King size beds. My family was very comfortable other than sleeping.

Girls' Weekend

Seven of us stayed here celebrating a year that we all turned 70 !!! :) And it was great for this group. The house is beautiful and it had everything we needed. We walked over the hill to the winery and enjoyed some wine and snacks there and spent Saturday visiting the other local wineries and several fun places in Excelsior Springs for eating and shopping!

Mom's 87th Birthday Celebration

We have been blessed to celebrate our mom's 85th & 87th birthdays at the Shamrock! We love the Shamrock and the grounds, it is beautiful and so well appointed. Denise & Mike think of everything! It's fun coming back and seeing new things, the vineyard is amazing! I hope we are able to gather at the Shamrock again!

Long Weekend at Shamrock Ranch Cabin

We enjoyed a long weekend at Shamrock Ranch Cabin. Not only did the cabin live up to our expectations, but Denise was a wonderful host. Her communication was always speedy, and she even had a plate of cookies to welcome us. We’re already talking about coming back!

This cabin was amazing. Loved the decor and all the extra room. The hearth room was so beautiful, huge, and homey. Denise was a joy to work with. Highly recommend. Would love to stay in warmer weather to enjoy the amazing out door areas. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property!! ❤️

Amazing!

From the fresh baked cookies to the well-stocked pantry and cabinets, to the gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces, to the FUN fishing - this was the best long weekend spot EVER! Staying at Shamrock Ranch was like staying at a good friend's home, one with four full bedrooms, 3+ bathrooms, a cool loft, and all of the considerate touches that make a truly memorable stay. Our adult kids agree that Shamrock Ranch is a "great find." We are ready to book again for next Memorial Day weekend!

Awesome Girls' Trip!

We have been friends for over 48 years and wanted a place to unwind and catch up with each other. The cabin was the perfect place! Denise and Mike, the owners, were wonderful. They were very prompt with communications from beginning to end. They have created a perfect place to unplug, relax, and enjoy the moment you're in. We will definitely go again!

The Best Ever

This property and the amenities did not disappoint in any way. It is such a peaceful setting. You must see the decor! Having been to Ireland twice, I appreciated all the Irish accents. It is absolutely beautiful; you will feel right at home. Be sure to go on a walk past the barns and enjoy nature while you are there.

Game Retreat

this was the perfect place for a weekend get away with all the amenities! I’m already anticipating future stays in different seasons with other groups. A lovely weekend in the country

We had 4 peaceful, lovely days at this splendid log cabin. We are six sisters who love to get away and just enjoy being together. This was the perfect place. We had a party one night for many family members which Denise, the owner, had no problem approving. She was very kind, and answered any questions we had immediately,. Girls Weekend

This place was absolutely amazing. Denise was very helpful and put a lot of detail into making our stay over the top. All the extra things like chilled water, soda and snacks. The wet bar and coffee bar were such a nice treat. Each bathroom was stocked with shampoo, body wash and hand soap. The kitchen had everything you could need to make a meal. We totally enjoyed the amazing outside sitting areas. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again soon!

Sister getaway

This property is awesome! They call it a “cabin” but it is so much more than that. It’s beautiful, spacious, well stocked with essentials and non-essentials. Spectacular country surroundings & well maintained, beautiful landscaping with amazing outdoor seating/gathering areas. Denise & Mike are the best hosts. They will help you with anything you need . Highly recommend.

Incredible Experience

Denise and Mike, Thank you for sharing your incredible home with us. We were hoping for a quiet respite and your lovely cabin, grounds and your excellent communication and care exceeded our expectations! The comfort of the Hearth Room with the wood burning fireplace, cozy furniture, warm blankets and amazing views were just what we needed to recharge and refresh. The special touches and amenities that you provided were exceptional, including freshly baked "welcome" cookies, a fully stocked kitchen, pantry and beverage bar. Absolutely Amazing!

From the moment we pulled up to the front gate, we were impressed. The grounds are gorgeous, very well maintained. The house itself is stunning. The "great" room, kitchen, dining room, and living room are spacious and easily accommodated all of us. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. We used the BBQ and sat outside to enjoy the evening. The patio is so gorgeous with plenty of outdoor seating. We walked the grounds in the morning and took great pictures of the adjacent vineyard! We loved it so much that we didn't want to leave! I would recommend this location without hesitation!! The host was so kind and responded quickly to all communication. OH, and my in-laws joined us with their truck & trailer, and were able to use the electrical hook-up. They loved it, too!
