Everytime we go to Kaohusigh we stay in Sunshine hotel. Highly recommended to choose including breakfast option. The overall experience is excellent! Good service, good food and good location. We will defintely come again!

it was our second stays in the past year. we got an upgrade, we were told. the room was in a different wing. the room was larger, bigger beds and bigger wider more comfortable than our previous stay. the breakfast was excellent as usual

I stayed here for 5 nights for business purposes. The hotel is a bit old but clean. The mattress was just okay with a flatted pillow. Breakfast was amazing on weekend but less options on weekday. It is walkable from MRT Sanduo without big luggage.

Love the hotel, especially the decoration and attention to detail in the room: beautiful furniture, all the accessories, Japanese toilet, etc.). Internet was good. TV had a few International channels (BBC, Bloomberg, etc.) Staff was very nice. Very nice buffet breakfast, but more oriented for Asian customers. The MRT (Metro) was a short walk away. Definitely recommend and would come back.

The hotel location was great for where i needed to be, and the room was spacious compared to most hotels in kaohsiung. The housekeeping staff was great. The only thing i didn't like was the breakfast. It lacked variety and wasn't tasty. Sorry.

Our room is in the delux tower so i don’t know whether rooms in the executive tower are in better condition. Our room is old and tired. There are cracked tiles and too big of a hole cut out for the outlet. There was a bath tub sitting in what it used to be a shower stall. We were ok but it would not be safe for elderly climbing in and out of a stand-alone bathtub. The shower certain did not close all the way. The slider bar that hold the shower head would not stay up. It kept sliding to the bottom so one can only use one hand to wash the hair. Breakfast is ok but does not taste very good. Basic. Room itself is not that clean. You can see dirt on telephone cord, dirty grout and etc. it reminded me of a motel 6, a nicer version. The location is good tho, about 2 blocks from the metro and also 10 min walk from a night market, one block from a 7/11 and a family mart. Despite all the cons, it is not bad for the price point. Basic but good enough.
