Loved the location and the ocean front views and access. Property is well maintained and clean and well equipped with beach gear, cooking gear and spacious. Highly recommended.

You get what you pay for – the complex and the unit could both use a little attention, TLC and a deep cleaning. If you like hot showers, this is not the place for you. The shower got warm, at best, and when brought to the attention of the host they said they would send maintenance to check on it. This was day 2 of our 10 night stay and I never heard back from them for the remainder of the trip. Great location within Kapaa and on the island. The bed was comfortable and the AC in the bedroom worked well.

The view was amazing and the unit was really clean. We loved the location and the parking was great. We made several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. We slept well at night as the ac in the room worked well. I thought the entire unit had ac, so I must not have read it thoroughly. It worked out okay due to the time of year (October) but it still became quite warm in the main living area. Other than that one issue, we loved our stay.

Beautiful location with an ocean view! Easy check in and out! Great location. You cannot swim in the ocean, but it’s still beautiful! We loved watching the moon rise in the evening!

Great stay in Kapaa

Condo was in a great location on Kauai. Beds were comfortable and condo unit was a nice size. Kitchen space was nice to have. Bathroom could use updating but was honestly fine. We spent most of our time outdoors and just slept and showered at the unit.

We should get a partial refund

The refrigerator didn't work on arrival and it took 1 & 1/2 days to get on that was smaller than 1/2 the size of the failed one. The toilet kept running unless we jiggled the handle to make it stop and there is mold in the caulk in the shower/tub. The TV has thin black lines that run vertical through the picture. AC in the bedroom was great and the bed is very comfortable. No AC in the living room is an issue during a hot muggy month(July). We got a notice on the door that a spray company would be coming to spray inside the unit, for ants and cockroaches the next day, so we had to get the food put away and all our belongings (golf, snorkel gear, suitcases etc...off the floors and covered so they wouldn't get the poison from the spray company.The pool looks like it has never been updated, it was swimmable though. The laundry room was ugly and dated and had one washer out of order, and it $2.00 for wash/$1.75 to dry. The waterfront was a nice view. The Lemongrass Restaurant across the highway has good food.

Fantastic Location!!

We spent most of our time on the island exploring, so did not have an opportunity to enjoy many of the facilities or amenities, but the location cannot be beat! The views from the lanai were break taking and perfect for sunrise! The room was clean and well kept, the air conditioner in the bedroom was a nice touch that not all Hawaii homes have. There are also ample restaurants, beaches, and other activities within walking distance. I would highly recommend this spot to others, regardless of whether you plan to use it as a place to sleep and travel from or a place to stay and relax.

Great Vacation on Kauai

We enjoyed our week long stay at Kapaa Shores. The location is great, very walkable. We saw gorgeous sunrises from the oceanfront balcony. It was nice that there were beach towels, beach chairs and a small cooler for taking down to the beach. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed.

Nice Property

Beautiful modernized unit in an older development. All features were as described, and accessories were provided. However, the hot tub was not operational for most of the week, and it appeared that no effort was being made to repair it Also, with no AC, sleeping with windows open was required, but the feral crowing roosters wandering the property beginning at 4 AM and continuing every ~20 mins. made sleeping in the early morning hours nearly impossible. Not returning to Kauai because of this

Lovely get away!

This property is convenient to airport, well managed, nice pool and hot tub. Balcony view was amazing! Would have liked a bit more “walkable “ beach, but there are some close to resort. Great vacation!

Ocean front Beauty. Perfect area of town to get North or South

This unit is privately owned. Very clean and updated inside. Gorgeous Oceanfront view. Beach is not swimmable. However, on of our favorite beaches on the island is 10 miles down the street Kealia Beach. Condo has everything you need, even beach chairs, umbrella and a little soft cooler. The king size bed was hands down the more comfortable bed I have slept on outside of my own room. So soft. The water is perfect. No need for bottled water. Pool and hot tub were nice to relax in at night.

Very nice property and unit.

Unit was very well stocked and clean. Bed was comfy. Listing doesn’t do a good job picturing the lack of beach front. Just a concrete breakwater. Besides that. Loved the location.
